It is a little known fact that a glass breaker is located in every car made now in an emergency situation, but there are not many people who know about it. Bottom of the headrest rods has pointy ends, use that to shatter your window and break out of your car.
What do you want me to do with this stuff, I don't sell it
Personally, I have never used it under water, but I find it to be one of the most versatile lifesaving devices. Always on my keychain, it is always available to me. The seat belts on my car have been cut like butter by me. Breaking a side window is as easy as placing the pin side against the glass nearer to the edge/corner and thrusting it forward. There is no need for a baton or baseball bat like you would have with a There is one in each of my vehicles.
We received them loose in a bag that didn't look like much.

It was just a case of using one of the keychain models I keep on my key rings. My first reaction to a nasty wrong-doing was to go straight to the hospital Accident on the way to work. There was an accident in which a driver and a passenger were trapped in their car. Since I was unable to open the doors easily (on the driver side), I pulled out my keys and pulled out this tool to pop My flashflight instantly caused the tempered glass to shatter, and I knocked off the excess with a flashflight before cutting the air bags away using a knife. As she smiled and held my hand, she knew that there was a way out of her predicament and she wouldn't be stuck. She appreciated that I was the only one there who knew We had to wait for a short period of time before paramedics arrived and arrived and began treating everyone. I was blown away by the way this came out I was able to use this product in the real world. It is definitely worth recommending. An photo from after everyone had been transported by the fire department.
A Resqme tool is in my possession (see photo of the black item) and we have ordered four more in yellow to add to our fleet. Although they were advertised as genuine, they turned out to be fakes re-packaged in tiny bags with stickers claiming to be original Resqme tools (see photo of fake yellow tool I Upon speaking with the manufacturer, I confirmed that their items all have a logo and they are sending me brand new ones. My family and I would like to thank Resqme for providing excellent customer service and say no to Pop's General Shoppe for selling fakes that could have endangered our.
To attach them to the rear, I used the cable ties that came with the kit. In my vehicles, I have view mirrors. Several weeks ago, I noticed that the tool was rattled around, so I detached it to inspect it more closely. There was a problem with the spring mechanism and it was just loose inside. I contacted the company a couple of weeks ago about a warranty claim but I have not heard back from them. The short version of the story is that there's a negative review for a Having a tool like this that is reliable is the single most important factor. (
A negative review for poor work.
I installed them with Velcro tape to the center of the dash/console of our vehicles so that they don't take up any space on my keyring. Therefore, both driver and front passenger know where the other is at all times and can reach out for the other at any time.
I did not receive the original ones I ordered. I've ordered these a couple of times before but this order and the last one are defective. This box was stained with rust and the pins were rusted and one didn't even operate. Apparently there is a rusted whole spring inside this box. Sadly, I have lost track of one of my last orders before this one. One of those orders I gave away as a gift so I don't remember but the other one I have left Because they're rusting on the inside, they can be counted on to fail. Although the original ones I ordered still look and work well, I am not sure if they have stainless pins and springs, but these latest ones certainly This brand I won't buy again and I'll return the latest ones, throw away the rusted ones that I already had and find another brand to buy.
It doesn't work so well in practice. As opposed to a larger, hammer-style escape tool, I liked the idea of a small tool I decided to purchase this one because it looked like the ones I could find on the market. As soon as I received them, I attached the keyrings to the tools and attempted to remove the blade cover to see if it would be possible to cut the seat belt. Unfortunately, I found it too hard to move the blade cover. As a weak person, I admit I would not be able to use this tool for ease of escape during an emergency, but what if the purpose of it is to help people escape easily? Since I couldn't even expose the blade in the calm of my own home while in perfect health, let alone in a hypothesized panicked situation where I might also be injured, this would be of little use to me. The hammer is larger and heavier I like it because it's like escape tool for me.
In the rear of the van, we had no idea if any passengers or important material was present. I had no idea what the device could accomplish until I took it for a test drive and amazingly, it smashed the back window of the van completely, allowing access into the trailer. Having used the device, I was impressed with its ease of use and the amount of power it outputted. I considered how useful the device could be if one had to escape from the inside of a submerged vehicle or one that was stuck in water. It is the first time I have used the seatbelt attachment to a harness, but my daughter- who is 7- has used it Having a rocket scientist background, she noted that this worked wonderfully on thick bags of snack food that she was unable to open and feel that it would have been equally successful on seatbelts. She described it as follows I couldn't believe how it cut!.
It is possible that failing products can lead to inconveniences or hassles. These items, for example, are likely not to be used in your daily life, but if they fail, could put you in danger. Here is an explanation of the piece of glass puncher visible in the picture it is the roundish black cap at the end of the tool. The black cap slams forward when you depress it, and a tiny metal point comes through the hole. shattering the car glass is all about. A person can shatter the glass and then easily smash through the rest as if it was a regular In our case, we had a problem in that we opened the box for one of them (we bought two) immediately after we opened it. After pressing the black cap once, it went out. Metal pins should click forward as long as they are oriented correctly. I did it a second time without any issues. ("Okay. Here's what this thing looks like. " for the third time. This tool had to be repaired three times before one of the most important parts worked again. There is a 0 in the . There is a one-in-a-million chance that I'll ever need to use this thing, so I can't have it fail When I have only a few seconds left to live or save another, I will need it to work. All the five star reviews of the tools in this application have to be hats off, but there was this red flag that led me to move on and use another application.
