Questions & Answers

It could be easy to set up, right?

As a result the replacement key didn't work with my old fob components. I was told by Toyota that internet replacements won't work because they no longer offer original replacements.

What is the compatibility of this device for Toyota Camry XLE ?

There are many cars that look the same, but I have a 2002 4 Runner. I believe you should be able to do it as long as all the buttons on yours match the photos. Basically you take off the whole cover and put the electronics inside. The process is very

Where do I find the installation instructions?

Your old key fob transmitter board is needed to make the key fob work. To align your transmitter board inside your new fob, open it up and align it inside the Snap the other half of the fob shell on once the first half is properly aligned. In addition to the general instructions I received with my purchase of the fob, there were some installation instructions as well. Overall, I found the process to be fairly straightforward and without

The photo shows a red panic button on the back of the case, but if this case is not intended to work with an original FOB with a red panic button, why do we see that on the photo?

Mine works when the panic button is pressed.

I just want to state the obvious The custom fit and look is identical to the original (sans As most reviewers have noted, the keyhole broke when I bought it for my mom
5/5

The Toyota Seqouia she has is a 2005 model. THIS IS NOT THE TYPE OF CASE I AM referring to. I did not need to replace the electronics on my mom's remote since it still works. I had only wanted to purchase Several reviewers have said that once a remote has been programmed, it will not work with the original remote. I didn't want to take a risk and buy the ones you programme yourself. If you are closing the case, make sure the buttons are working. You can replace the circuit board easily, but be sure to arrange it correctly! Since I hadn't really been paying attention (it was a long day at work), I almost put it in upside-down. In order to verify that the buttons worked in the appropriate order, I held the circuit board in place and pressed the buttons in the car. Hopefully, with this reminder, people will remember when they took out the circuit board from the old case and didn't fully pay attention. The last thing I wanted to do was to close the case and reopen it to determine if I did it correctly. Since it would lose its durability and strength if I opened and shut it a lot, I did not want to take that risk. There is no need for this little section of the review, but I thought it would be amusing to throw it in. I was clever enough to replace my mom's remote as soon as I received it. As I had left her original one in a plastic ID holder underneath her keys, I left it in there. In the moments before she was about to leave for somewhere, she thought the ID badge had fallen off After that, I pointed out the new remote on her keychain and told her "Look Mom, here it is. ". I stared at her and then at the brand new remote for a while, trying to figure out what was going on. She looked so confused and just stared at it. It looks like the original, without a doubt! Not including the Toyota logo on the back of the car, but it doesn't seem to.

As a result, the circuitry in the remote is from my OEM remote and should work just fine
5/5

As soon as I received the product, it was already in Use this application A keyring hole on my OEM remote on my 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5 When I searched eBay for used OEM units, the majority of them looked beat up, and I was worried the keyring hole would break soon after I purchased them. After trying just the outer shell of the unit, I decided to take a closer look. As a result, the circuitry in the remote is from my OEM remote and should work just fine. When I first got the item, it was already in two halves, which in hindsight I was glad for. The outer casing of the device is slightly textured, which is different from the OEM. Once snapped together, it is extremely difficult to disassemble. Every button on the OEM remote is identical, down to the dimple on the lock In addition to the waterproof membrane, a sealing option is included on the inside I ring you. There was no problem securing the circuit board, as the fit was excellent. I have no problems operating the buttons since they are responsive. I have located the KeylessOption remote on the left and the OEM Toyota remote on the right in my photos.

I found it to be perfect for my 2006 Toyota 4 The runner
5/5

The case of my last key fob broke off of my key ring, so I purchased a replacement case. I watched a video on You Tube and then transferred the electronic components from my old fob into the new one as well as changing the battery while I was All the pieces were snapped back together and I tested it out on my 2006 Toyota 4Runner I used the Runner Sport Model and it worked flawlessly. Hopefully the remote will not break again for another 12 years now that I have it on my key ring. I just wanted to let you know that this is actually not a remote that has all the electronics built in, but only a shell that you can insert.

I really like this product! In the remote original from my 2005 Toyota 4-door, there is an eye for the key ring
5/5

As a result of the rubbing from the key ring, the runner had worn out to the point that Rather than purchasing a new remote controller (about $30 online), you could In terms of the line and recoding, I found this on Amazon and it made sense to me since the remote still worked, but the cover (key ring eye) was close to breaking. In this new remote control case, the circuit board was easily relocated from the old remote control - no modifications needed That's what I was looking for! Those who own a 2005 Toyota 4-wheel drive should check out this manual The case of the runner is worn out or damaged, but it is still functional.

I am very pleased with the value and product provided
5/5

I am so happy to find it! The Toyota beeper had been broken (where it was supposed to attach to the keychain) for a long time, but I never fixed it since I thought it would be expensive to get it fixed My old case was cracked, so I purchased this one and it was so easy to swap with the broken one. All you need to do is swap the original shell with the new one. was amazed that I had never thought of buying one online before! The only difference I noticed was that the replacement beeper shell was made out of a brittle plastic, not as good as the one that came with my Nevertheless, I am absolutely satisfied with it. To be safe, I also bought a silicone protective cover.

Paying the dealer is much better than paying your own! As a result
5/5

Since the plastic key ring holder came off the original keyless entry, I thought it was no big deal. Toyota will have a new one I can buy for a few bucks if I just run by. Sorry, not my cup of tea. There will be a $200 charge for that. In what way? Even though I have this part, I still want to get a new case for it. The price remains at Thank you so much for saving me $192 because Amazon shipped the case via Prime. I was able to install the case in less than 30 seconds.

The best replacement part for OEMs
5/5

A factory-made fob that I repaired with epoxy had been serving me well for a while. For a while, it held up but the epoxy loop that I formed eventually came undone. There is a very good fit and finish on this replacement. It was described as having a heavily textured finish in the listing, but the one I received was relatively smooth in appearance. They feel similar to those on the factory remote and are easy to push. It is notable that both halves of the key fob are equipped with key ring loops, unlike the OEM which had a thin loop only on one half of the key Despite the fact your factory fob hasn't broken yet, this upgrade is highly recommended. There will be much less wear and tear on this than the factory fob's thin loop.

The 2008 4runner will work with this kit! I lost my original key fob due to a broken clip on the ring, which rendered it useless as a key ring accessory
5/5

Previously, I had purchased a new key fob and had to spend a lot of money getting it programmed and making sure it worked, etc. I did searches on the internet for some kind of replacement. It was thanks to this fob shell that I came across a YouTube video showing what I could do with it. It's time to fix that worn out fob! Cut it in half and place the guts in the new piece, then close it up and you're This kit even comes with a new replacement rubber caddy to store everything Due to a bit of laziness on my part, I kept it and just used the old one. This shell has the same style as the one you currently have and if you need a new fob, go ahead and get.
