The observations are all correct. For my 2016 GMC Canyon, I used them to protect the fob. I completed the task perfectly.
3 observations I will - There will be a little more bulk to the fob as a result* The original key rings are too small for adding the keys, so you will need to get some new ones. The fobs are made of soft rubber (not hard plastic), but they slide over easily.

Worth the time and effort. I bought my truck used, so the keys weren't in great shape when I received them. They did exactly what I wanted! I opted for these covers to enhance the look. Except for the "chrome" trim, you would never know that it is a cover unless you knew that it is supposed to have that trim. This also adds some peace of mind knowing these expensive fobs are getting a little bit of extra We purchased a 2014 1500 High Country from Patti.

I have worn out my old case and the silicone cover will help me replace it The rubber cover of the FOB that had ripped off had been ripped I am pleased with how it has worked. However, given that I have used the FOB for 4 years now, I know what the buttons do without having to use the printed icons. It can be difficult to put on the FOB, and the emblem print comes off easily. Considering the price and the quality, the cover seems to be a good buy.

All in all, it is an inexpensive way to protect your key fob and a good product. - Pros - The FOB fits very well over the stock one and is extremely easy to change. I will - I think they will last a long time. It seems there is a way to prevent a repeat of what I experienced before when I cracked the back cover of my FOB from dropping my keys ($20 to replace). I will - There are colors that match what's in the picture. Since I bought a red keychain, my keys are more visible in my gym bag when I'm searching for them. As far as we can tell, it does not attract dirt at all, but rather repels it The cover I purchased is already getting a few compliments, and I have heard that a few members of my family will be purchasing a cover like this for their keys. This makes the fob larger, but that's the only negative about it. In terms of size, I would estimate the thickness at 1/16 of an inch, so 1/8" bigger than the original.

It relieves my anxiety when I drop my keys, as I am constantly forgetting them. Likewise, I decided to go with red cover colors. When I want to find my key fob, I don't have to look for very long. The situation is particularly difficult when visibility is low. While the silicone cover adds a bit of mass, this doesn't actually alter the performance of the phone. It is possible for me to roll around in the garage with my keys remaining in my pocket without fear of losing them. Overall, I'm very pleased with what I see and how the system works.

It took about three years for my Chevrolet remotes to lose their shine. Since the logos were pretty much gone on the truck, I had to buy these protectors when I traded it in. It has been several months since I have used them and I enjoy using it. It would be a good idea to I also find it helpful to have two different colors, since one represents "Driver 1" (me) and the other represents As a result I know I will be able to adjust the seat and mirror correctly when I pick up the black set. I would highly recommend buying this! Neither the fit nor the quality can be faulted!.
