Everything seems to be going well so far. To prepare for the trip, I loaded the refrigerator with water and sodas. The partition can be removed, so there is enough room for 22 bottles of 16 ounce water bottles, and 10 cans of soda. It's not a perfect fridge, it's adequate for what most people will want from it, which is weekend family trips, long drives, days out at the beach, etc. Let's look at the pros and cons of the fridge. The cons are
1) The seller claims it needs 45 watts, but I have a 100 watt max battery pack from Anker that does not support the fridge while it is plugged into AC power. With the Volt Protection on LOW and the battery pack plugged into the DC plug only, I have no problem using the battery pack. DC works well with battery generators, but it does not work well with The power consumption is at least 100 watts on AC. 2). It works best if you don't use items that are already cooled or only place them in very slowly if they are room temperature. In a refrigerator full of cold stuff, the temperature can be maintained for a very long time. If you remove something from the refrigerator, replace it with something cooler so the other cool things in the fridge can help to cool the removed item. When I put room temperature water bottles and soda into the fridge, it took almost 18 hours for the water to cool 3) When connected to DC power, the USB port does not generate much The charger has an equivalent power of five watts. From 6% to 49% over the course of 2 days, I charge my iPhone 11 pro (not the max) The thermostat is off.
4) The time is 3 hours. There is a large difference in temperature between what's shown on the display and what is actually inside the room. The reason this fridge does not circulate cold air is because it is air cooled by contact rather than air cooled by air flow. It makes sense that items that are in contact with the bottom and walls of the fridge will be colder than what is placed in the middle. Despite the fact that I have the fridge set at 24F, nothing inside has frozen, plus the waters at the top of the fridge are warmer than the ones at the bottom, even though the condensation on the walls is iced over. The pros are
1) This thing is surprisingly light when it's You only make it as heavy or as light as you want. 2) There's a lot of room inside of this machine. There is enough space in this thing to fit 10 cans of soda and 21 bottles of water. It will be great to use when we go camping to store meats and food. No Ice!
3) Stay away from ice! In the case of food storage, you no longer need to buy ice, and your groceries will never get wet and drenched coming out of the cooler, it is the same process as putting them in your fridge when you are Can be powered by a A Powerhouse 200 is an Anker product that I bought. In addition to 213Wh of power, the battery has DC and AC charger ports, as well as PD/USB port for you to recharge other devices. UP TO 24 hours of consistent cooling is possible when you set the battery protection mode on the fridge to Low, plug it into the DC plug, and the refrigerator will remain on the Low setting. Keep in mind that battery usage is affected by how much you open and open the fridge, as well as whether or not the items inside are pre-cooled. In case you open the fridge a lot while using a battery generator, its runtime will be drastically reduced. In addition to reducing your usage time, you will also reduce the efficiency of a battery generator if you attempt to cool room temperature items at the same time. The generator lasted only six hours as the compressor was constantly running. I took it to a party to a small family gathering, and the fridge was opened perhaps four times an hour and half the fridge was emptied before more semi cooled items were put in. 5) This thing keeps a low volume. I barely notice the buzzing or humming other than a slight buzzing or humming. To make sure the compressor of the fridge is working, I have to touch it directly. Normally you will not be able to hear this in your car. **6) Decent insulation is a must. The insulation is decent enough so that the cooler won't begin to heat up as soon as power is cut off. A test run at the mall gave it a thumbs up. The sun is shining and it's 75 degrees outside. In the time it took for the car to get back from being parked in direct sunlight (I had to turn on the AC when I got back to the car), the fridge went from 24F to 28F. Despite the cold weather, the fridge still contained cool items. On average, I'd think you could do 3 in average temperatures The battery will last for 5 hours without power before you will experience any problems with food going bad unless your goods are extremely temperature sensitive.
Overall I think this was a wise choice. Although there are larger models for the same price, I don't have enough room in my vehicle to fit one that is larger. With two kids in the car and a car seat, I drive a Subaru Forester. As long as I place it between my kids in the back seat and my trunk is free for my other luggage, I am all set. After we purchase a 4Runner we will consider purchasing a larger refrigerator, but until that time this guy will do.
A maximum of 50 watts is available. A 40 watt power supply is used in economy mode. This cooler (30 qt) has been in my possession for some time, and I am still happy with it. As a result of putting a lot of food or cans into it, it took a while to cool down, but this is to be As well as being accurate, the digital readout is also accurate. Generally speaking, this is a really good device. A few miles north of Detroit, I live in an off-grid home. My refrigerator has been a cube, but when the generator is running that thing eats up a lot of energy so I have to use it when the generator is on. In order to purchase a new fridge, I had a specific list of demands. 1.
1. 12 volts is what it needs to run. In case of need, it should be able to freeze foods. Having searched and compared (and read some reviews), I chose to get this product, the 30 quart size. I am quite confused by the company, both in their name and in how they identify their models. When I got it, I measured it's dimensions to be sure it was the right size. It came in the usual 3 box configuration. HOWEVER (and this is really important), both the outside box and the product box had the this side facing the wrong way. The sticker on the package clearly states that it must sit for 12 hours if it's shipped that way. I started giggling like a little kid with a new toy once I started using it. That's a great deal for what you're getting and the price is right on target. There are no noise complaints with it. It cools the food quickly and can run on In addition to using a battery bank at night to provide power, I also use a solar panel at night to charge the battery In the United States, 430 amp hours is used every day. A night's test was conducted on this product. This time I went over my overnight power needs by using fewer than 30 amp hours of energy. The product is outstanding.
In a nutshell This model is excellent with regards to energy efficiency. The user can choose to keep everything in perfect temperature (depending on their preferences).
My new D/C refrigerator runs on an app that I was unaware of until I recently purchased it. Consequently, I couldn't figure that out and gave away the one I gave There are simple, straightforward controls, written clearly, and the interface is not as complicated as others. It amazed me that I was able to get a 30 quart. With the footprint of a 20-quart refrigerator, a car refrigerator is developed. 3 dollars are all you need. There is still $10. 00 left! Based on my reading of the reviews and knowing it is 4 or 5 degrees warmer than the temperature reading on the panel, I just set it accordingly, and it does not I like the way it works, it looks good, and I like how simple it is.
It is useful to have the adapter to connect to my house and make my vehicle cold then take it out and plug it into the cigarette lighter to make it hot.
While driving a thousand miles in one day, you will never need to stop at a minimart or a gas station.
It is very well made and very We've already gone out on an overnighter once, and everything worked just like it was supposed to. There is no battery drain and it actually cools things down rather than relying on precooled items to do the job. Though it is best to add already cooled items, you can add them as you use them and it will work fine. It is very well built and will last a long time. It holds 2 liter bottles and I appreciate not having water from melting ice in The freezer setting has yet to be tested, but I have a 5 quart ice cream bucket that it holds. There are no bulky or heavy components to this bag, and it is the perfect size for day or overnight trips. Since you can add things on the road as you add them, I am looking forward to trying it on a longer trip as well. was functioning well both when powered by AC power and when it was powered by Being able to plug it in overnight is nice to be able to take it with you. Driving with the seat in the car ensures that it is stable and won't tip or move too much.
