Questions & Answers

Are you able to use lithium batteries?

A 500 will run it for about 24 hours on a Goal Zero yeti X. About 48 hours is all I need to run the old Yeti 1600.

Do the zero and the classic have different functions? Is the cheaper one a better deal if both are the same price?

A different design is used for the internal environment. What is better for you depends on what you think is best.

Should I leave this in the bed of a truck exposed to weather, or will it get destroyed if it rains?

Purchase the ARB Element if you need a waterproof refrigerator. Similarly, all of the other ARB fridge/freezers also need to be installed in some type of vehicle or watertight

I wouldn't call it bad, but neither would I call it spectacular
3/5

As this is my first 12 volt fridge, I simply can't compare it to any other. But I can share my thoughts on it nonetheless. I find it pretty quick to reach the refrigerator temperature level, and that is without using I thought it took the refrigerator less than 20 minutes to go from 60 degrees down to 30, at least that's what I thought. thermometer in the bottom of the fridge and found it to be 5 degrees warmer than the fridge display. It's kind of a waste of time to use the fridge app. The design looks like it was made by an elementary school student. There's a long wait until the app is able to connect to the fridge, and the app is relatively As you can see in the screenshot, the buttons and font are comically large, allowing even people with poor vision to easily read In my opinion, the biggest problem I have is that after changing the temperature on the refrigerator, the display on the fridge and the app both start Since it does this before the compressor is even turned on, this doesn't make any sense. Temperatures cannot have dropped before the compressor has turned on since it is physically impossible. The pros are There is a decent feel to it that makes the fridge seem like it will last. The refrigerator is well built, which is to be expected for the price.
It seems to keep things cold, but the thermostat is not very effective. For a triple check of the temperature, we will purchase a wireless thermometer. As long as the compressor is running, it is quiet. The cons are I have no use for the app, and the latches on the lid are pretty cheap looking, should last long enough. I would say that these do not belong on a $1000 product.
Both the display and app show instant temperature changes when you change your settings, which makes no sense at all.

The movie was mostly good, but there were some disappointments
3/5

A reasonable quality product with dual zones that are just what we were looking for. In addition, I like the fact that the lids can be reversed and that there are 12v inputs on each side. I have tested the fridge on both 110v and 12v, and it is quiet both ways. With the 110v, everything works fine, but with the 12v plug I'm getting a major voltage drop which causes the system to shut down prematurely. There is a major negative in that part of the temperature display no longer works, and both the seller and ARB USA are unresponsive, making it a very expensive disposable item if you can't get parts or service, not to mention any.

I received this item on Friday at 2pm
5/5

I was waiting for UPS to drop it off then heading to the campground for a little camping fun. I'm waiting in the truck for Goal zero. I started it right away after dropping it off at 2pm, and I plugged it in right away to my hot Tacoma (104 degrees in Arizona) when it was dropped off With a boost on, the temperature went from a low of 100 degrees to 32 degrees within 35 minutes. This has been a great experience so far. Plus, I was able to see my stats right from my phone after connecting to the app. It's the easiest way to use a website ever! My intention is to make a short YouTube video about it in the next couple of days.

- A short video I recorded using my iPhone is available on YouTube. What is this called ARB Zero 73Q/69L And what is Yeti Goal Zero 1000 All about this.

I love my refrigerator! I am flexible! It's so nice to have a new refrigerator! It was for moving groceries that I bought two of them
5/5

In my Tacoma, I plug in at the 120 volt outlet and it hums along while I'm driving. While I'm running down the street, I can use this app to check in. It's a great idea to have a split freezer and fridge. The divider can be removed from the freezer or fridge to create a larger one. It works great when I have to move groceries with both of them because I am able to use my truck's generator to power them It works great in the back of the Murano of my wife. Well made and looks good as well. It's a solid product! I can understand why these last for so long!.

Throughout this review, I will focus on the Zero 73 QRT Since 2013, I have owned an ARB classic fridge, and with the Zero, they really upped their game
4/5

My father and I used to go camping and take road trips a lot. What I loved most about these things is how efficient they I have run mine for days on end off of the 12v marine batteries because they cool down so fast and use so little power. I moved a few years ago and now I live on top of a mountain, so camping and traveling in general now seem like downgrades, so I don't do a lot of camping. Due to frequent power outages living on a mountain is an unfortunate disadvantage, and I've been throwing away between $200 and $300 a month It costs me $300 a year to throw out spoiled food in case of power outages, and I hate giving food away. As such, I didn't purchase this fridge for camping. Instead, I bought it to use in an emergency power outage. When you live on a mountain, it can take a long time for the power to come back on, and you're not the first As a result of considering the different backup power options, I decided that for my purposes which are primarily about refrigeration, getting another portable refrigerator/freezer made the most sense. There is a 12v battery system in place, and I have been using a 50 quart classic. However, it's just too small. Despite having lost 100 dollars in food after the electrical outage following a storm, I lost power a second time. It is now time to end this. It's nice to be familiar with some things. When you change the settings on the zero, you will still have to press a sequence of buttons. It's nothing too special, but if you haven't done it before then you might have a hard time figuring out what you need to do. It sounds like this app could be very useful, but I have not used it yet. My favorite part of the zone is the independence. In this case, a fridge or a freezer is all you can get but not both at the same time. It is possible to freeze things you do not want to freeze and to thaw things you do not want to thaw if you try. In my opinion, the temperature on the Zero is more accurate. Having to adjust the differential on a Classic was a challenge. Thermometers were used inside to ensure the temperature was accurate. If you freeze food by accident, it is easy to ruin it. It would be too big for the interior of a pickup truck cabin with the 74 quart unit. In fact, I used it to get to Whole Foods, about an hour away, when I went to town. Two thirds of the back seat is taken up by it. It would be better to have a SUV or van to haul a fridge this big. It's much better to put a 50 quart inside a pickup truck instead of a 25 quart container. The appliance will only be used during extended power outages for me, so I put it on a moving dolly that fits me well (18" x 30"), and I can conveniently move it from the closet where it lives to the kitchen, where it will be put to use. The only thing that I do not like is a couple of things. This version is not decorated with bars at the ends like the classic. The bars provide a convenient way to carry and tie down the kite, and they also make it easy to use an anti-roll bar A bike lock consisting of a serpentine snake is a great anti-theft device. With this price point, I would rather lock it down at a campsite if I was not keeping an eye on it the whole time. There's just a thin steel cable that can pass through, but even that can be easily manipulated with tin snips. I think they should have done something where there is a way to lock it down easily. In terms of carrying capacity, the 74-quart bag isn't too cumbersome when empty, but there aren't many places to grab onto. There is almost this desire to have you drop it or to The project hasn't been with me very long, but I hope it will hold up.
