I have a couple of things I need to take care of before one of these can be installed. A word about the metal bracket? It is not Across the rear is a single bolt, which sticks out so far between the fender and the fuel tank that it is incredibly tight. It was not worth it to me to attempt to thread the bracket hole in attempt to avoid ruining my bolt so, I simply rethreaded the hole Since this piece was undamaged (only the plastic trim was affected), I used it. As for the bolt head, it's wedged in an awkward and tight spot between the fuel tank and the fender. A flat tire made me jam the rim of my car A 3/8" wrench can fit through the gap a bit more easily. Fits perfectly. This is an exact replacement for the one that comes with the.
The equipment was in need of a replacement. I was very pleased with the results.
It was easy to install and worked perfectly.
All components were replaced with easy ease, and they look and operate.
It does what it says it is supposed to do.
After removing the old and bent assembly (and part of the fender body), the new assembly was slightly challenging to install, but it seems to be working well now that it's fully in place.
I own a craftsman T2000.
