I'm so glad I found this! You should install this item yourself if you can afford to buy it. I love how easy it is. There will be so much money saved for you. One negative is that it didn't come in the tan color I needed for my vehicle's interior. Although it fit perfectly, it was still a little small for me. I replaced my stock housing's faulty lamp assembly with a new one by removing it from the inside. Keeping the tan assembly, but changing the gray button to black. I love the look and it works great!.
I am not exactly sure why my interior lights stayed on, but I guess that is a function of the OEM part. This replacement overhead bulb was simple to replace and came with new screws and bulbs.
Several months ago, I installed this product. The switch control still works as if it were brand A high degree of finish and fit can be expected from an OEM.
