This will not work on a 2004 but only on a 2001-2004
There is no other use for this except for light bulbs. I was not able to find a digital thermometer in my 2001 RAM 1500.
The manufacturer of the switches is unknown to me. The man didn't look to see if there was anything. There is a good chance that it comes from Mopar.
Having seen them completed, I know that they are solid. The majority of them are in use.

Thought that was a great replacement. These are the original Mopar parts. That is normally a good thing, but these switches are notorious for faulty wiring. Initially, I tried to fix the old switch a few times, but it fell apart. If that is the case, you must be looking for it because you cannot operate your switch. It took me a long time to make this decision. I really like how well it fits. To change it, it wasn't at all difficult but you had to be careful to not break the plastic when you took out the old one. Before that happens, we can hope it will outlive the rest of the truck. If you happen to buy LED bulbs, throw them into the console and the dome lights while you are doing this repair. The difference is very significant, and if you opt for 5000k or 6000k LEDs, your truck will appear In my case (plus, they are inexpensive) here are the things I put.
In looking at the picture that accompanies this item, I had a feeling it might not be a direct match, but I know some sellers post pictures that aren't always identical to the item as it appears in person. A harness with two connectors appears to be attached to this machine The lights are connected to connectors. A pair of tube bulbs with popsicles came with my truck Both ends of the connectors are connected. The bulbs do not have plugs. Connecting wires to the harness and switches is a straightforward process. As a workaround, I eliminate two connectors and splice three wires together with my soldering iron. If you are looking for a solution like this, you will need a butt-tightening gun. The wires should be soldered or connectors should be used. How you do this depends on how well you can do electrical work and how much you want to do.
It was not available in the 4 letter A by AA store in town and I could not order it. At the Auto parts store, I even tried to order it, but nobody had it. I'm not surprised retail is dying (Well, that's no surprise). As it arrived on the third day after ordering it, it was days before it was supposed to arrive, so don't be put off by the ETA (estimated delivery date). It's nice to have a switch that seems to be solid, much better than the stock ones that fell apart in my hands, or the on/off ones that are I found it to work perfectly. The plastic housing is easy to remove and install, just be careful not to damage your cab roof while doing so. Make sure you watch it on you tube! In order to prevent tabs from breaking.
The connector on this is wrong if you have an overhead computer, which I should have noticed from the reviews. Anyway, the overhead console is set up with a soldering iron, a bit of bench work, and the switches from it. You shouldn't buy this if you already possess the trip computer in your overhead or if you just plan on cutting it and splicing it in neatly.
Prior to this, I had trouble using the switches on my overhead map console. It's a typical Dodge problem for them to break down. All in all, it went in pretty well and I'm glad to have it fixed now! It is important to note that these are designed specifically for the overhead console with lights and sunglasses holders. This game was not designed for the console with a computer inside.
A NEW ROTOR FOR MY 2001 RAM 1500 SPORT 4X4 QUAD CAB WAS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONE I HAD. In order to complete this task, I had to cut cables and use wire connectors. WE GET IT TO WORK.
The program works as expected. In 1999, the original factory buttons on the factory harness had long since been rendered obsolete and could not be used anymore, so this was a perfect.
The old truck only needed the parts I needed. An old light switch was broken some time ago, and I hated it. It took me just a few minutes to get this. I've used it for several months without any issues. It's easy to install and works well.
