It'll fit, and if it's longer than 6 feet, you'll be fine. Simply arrange it in your preferred manner. Make sure your mattress fits in the tent if you have one. However, it will easily fit into an 8 foot container. My grade is a 6. 5 would be preferable, and an extra 2 feet would be ideal. So you're good to go, and I really like it. I've never made a better purchase in my life.
I'd take a measurement from the toolbox to the end of the bed with the tailgate up and order the appropriate size based on that measurement. The window access to the cab wouldn't be much use, but it might help with airflow and ventilation.
It should fit as long as the top sides of the bed and the interior of the bed are not obstructed. I can't say for sure because I don't have a look at your setup.

There's also a door awning. I bought this tent as a Christmas present for my son. Since many of the reviews were negative, I was a little hesitant. The bow that covers the tent opening is too long, according to him. It wasn't even close to being effective. In any case, I bought it. My soon was cautioned not to push it in. It's possible he'll have to shave it down. He stated that it worked flawlessly. They liked that there was an extra liner on the inside, so they weren't just sleeping on the bare bed floor.
It's as if it were made for you. So far, I've been very pleased. I'm going fly fishing this weekend. br>I'll post an update later.
br>Kept the driving, heavy rain out (for the first time, at least) I was blown away.
This tent is a lot of fun for me. It's very simple to do it again once you've set it up the first time. My truck bed is 8' long, so I was able to fit an inflatable queen mattress in there and still have 2' or 3' of tent to spare. There are many windows, which allows for plenty of fresh air. The way the tent's door is set up is my only complaint so far. Normally, the doors have a screen window, but this tent has a canvas door and a separate screen door, and the canvas door rests inside on the tent floor if you only want the screen open. However, this is by no means a deal breaker!.
After putting up the tent, I discovered that half of the awning mounting points were missing, rendering the awning useless. This was exacerbated by the fact that (as many others have pointed out), the frontmost support pole was too long, causing the entire door area to flop around and provide no rain protection. br>Rather than using this tent while camping, I had to pack it up and go buy a cheapo regular tent. It's a fantastic concept, but the execution and quality control are woefully inadequate.
This is NOT the same quality as the original Sportz truck tent, which I owned for about ten years. The large green pole was a full stick too long, the seams were about to split in a couple of places, the zippers were junk, and the fabric was only half as thick as the older one. This tent should set you back between $100 and $200. $125.
The main structure poles of the tent are about a half-inch too long, making it difficult to assemble the tent. Once it's up and running, it's a fantastic tent for camping on the ground.
This is a fantastic truck tent because it allows you to stand up inside and has plenty of room for a mattress and luggage.
