I'm afraid it'll be too short for me, as it's too short for my 6 foot frame. My f150 has a perfect 5' bed.

That first time, it took me about 30 minutes to set up, and despite the fact that it was in the 20s outside, the tent heated to over 70 degrees in about 10 minutes! And, most importantly, I was completely dry throughout the night! br>br>I was also blown away by the amount of space in this tent. I'm 6' tall, and there was plenty of room for all of my belongings. br>br>I'm a big fan of this tent and have used it a lot. I've never been dissatisfied with my purchase. Because of the price, I feel as if I got away with something!.
At first, the set-up seemed strange. It's great for the price once it's set up, and it's a lot nicer than I expected. There is a lot of space above your head. It's great for me because I'm 6'2". There is nothing to be unhappy about. My 07 is compatible with this item. 5 short bed that fits perfectly!.
This weekend, the truck tent came in handy! It's a little big for my Tacoma, but with a few tweaks, it fit perfectly. The night I set it up, we had 40 - 50 degree weather. Winds gusting to 50 miles per hour between 2300 and 2500 feet. It was tested at 08:00 a. m. and passed with flying colors. My family was envious, and many campers in the area inquired as to where I had discovered such a marvel. br>br>One of the things I liked about having this was that it allowed me to free up sleeping space by allowing me to store my clothes bag and coolers in the truck's cab. Also, while camping, you can literally turn the back of your bed into a headboard by stuffing it with pillows. Another feature is a tie at the tent's dome (designed to secure the fiberglass rod) that can also be used to hang a lantern for lighting. br>br>I can't wait to use it again!.
Before you use it, set it up and look for them. This appears to be a good tent for the money; there are some cheap features, but I can see the value for the occasional camper. For my 5 year old, it's a little too long. I strongly advise setting it up before going camping to figure out how to set it up because the instructions are vague and you need to find any weak spots. When I first set it up in my driveway, two of the pole holders came unstitched, but I was able to repair them before using it. We'll be camping in Colorado next week, so if there's anything else I can find out after we return, I'll update this. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The tent has performed admirably; it provides adequate ventilation even when the rain fly is in place and the windows are open, but it also retains heat effectively when the windows are closed. When I set it up in my driveway, two pockets came unstitched, but I haven't had any other problems. Because of the initial issues, I'm giving it a four-star rating, but I still think it's a great tent for the money.
Fits perfectly in the 6'5" bed of my 2017 RAM 1500. It extends all the way to the tailgate's end. It's easy to assemble. 100% worth the price. There is No Need To Spend Anything Else.
We were good to go once we figured out the setup. And, while our "on the ground tent" camping friends had to deal with wild hogs and raccoons all night, we didn't hear a thing and were never bothered by critters. We keep this under the back seat of our Silverado in case we break down or need to stop for a break while traveling.
We stay in a two-person tent. Once a year, three times a year Nothing out of the ordinary, it's summer at the campgrounds. When it comes to tent space, some campsites are a crapshoot. It was fairly simple to assemble; just make sure you do so on the ground, then place the part that goes by the back window UP on top of the bed rails. When you get it in, you'll understand what I mean. This purchase has made me extremely happy! My husband and I were able to comfortably accommodate two Dobermans! For space reasons, I'd probably go with mats instead of an air mattress. We didn't have to worry about a lumpy floor because our truck came with one. I hope this information is useful.
It's a perfect fit for my 1995 Ford F150 short bed. Set- It's not difficult to get back on your feet. I can't wait to go camping in it.
