Questions & Answers
Yes, it should work fine; I have a Nissan Frontier, and it fits perfectly.
A full-size truck is one that weighs more than 250 pounds. The tent may or may not fit, depending on the bed cover you buy(d). Check the dimensions of the tent opening to the opening of the bed cover with the door open before making a purchase.
Not sure. I'm the proud owner of a F-150 from 2018. 350 lbs. with an 8 ft. wing span bed, and a cap that is flush with the roof of the truck cab. This is where DAK comes in handy. The tension on the DAK is also maintained by the truck bed cap's flip up back window, which keeps it open and in place. As this is an auto-adjust feature, it might work.
It all depends on the top you have on your camper. Yes, it will fit in the bed dimensions. Whether a camper wears a high top or a regular hat is a matter of personal preference Will work with a regular rise, but not so much with a high top.

I needed a camper top tent, and the DAC camper top tent was perfect! My truck is a 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4 door with a Leer 180 and a 5 foot back bed. Because I am 6 feet tall, I required a couple of extra feet to sleep comfortably. I received the entire package. Because the Leer back shell is 4 inches taller, it is a larger size. The DAC tent easily slipped on the back, providing me with the two additional feet I required. I set it up in my driveway, and it appears to be functioning properly.
I was looking for a truck tent, and this is exactly what I found. It's incredibly simple to put together. My truck's cargo compartment is only 5 feet long. I am 6 feet tall and she is 5 feet tall. I can comfortably sleep in this tent because it allows me to extend the box. br>There are small gaps in the corners where the tailgate meets the truck, as others have mentioned. A bungy cord runs across the bottom of the tailgate, keeping gaps to a bare minimum. br>There aren't enough positive things I can say about this tent. It simplifies and enhances the camping experience.
Setup is a breeze. To keep the rest of my shell private, I draped a tarp over it. It was served during a rainstorm. No leaks. To put my air mattress on, I placed another tarp in the bed of my truck. The tarp covers the tailgate and hides the holes in the coners that were mentioned in a previous review. In a nutshell, it keeps it shut. This product means a lot to me and I am completely satis.
This is an excellent tent. I was able to set it up in less than 5 minutes right out of the box. I then spent about a half-hour fiddling with the fit to make sure it was perfect. My camper is a Leer 180 raised camper shell on a 2017 Ford F150. The glass door does not rise as high as I would like, but with any multi-story building, you have to make some compromises. use a product that isn't made for your car Others have complained that the tent does not completely seal around the truck's end, allowing bugs to enter. This will almost certainly be the case. However, by spending a few minutes adjusting the straps, particularly the one that goes under the tailgate, you can get a good bug-free deal. I already had tailgate seals installed, so all I had to do was drop the tent stuff sack in one corner between the tailgate and the tent on the inside, and a small towel in the other, and I was bug-free as can be. Because of the back lip, I was a little worried about getting in and out. The lip, however, lays flat as soon as the flap is unzipped.
It will not, however, fit my truck topper combo (2013 F150 Leer 180, which is 4" higher than the cab height). I tried to make it work, but I didn't want to ruin the tent or break the $500 back window. I'm afraid I'll have to give it back. I'd gladly buy one if the makers of this tent ever make one that fits a slightly taller topper. I'm also disappointed because I had hoped to do a lot of truck camping with it.
This is the perfect fit for my 2005 F150 4x4 XLT short-bed supercab with a standard profile Lifetime aluminum camper top. It was exactly what I needed, as I had a modified futon frame in the back and needed to lower the tailgate to fit the 6' full-size mattress. mattress pad of the appropriate size It's well-made, with features that indicate it was designed by someone who has actually camped in a truck. It takes two people to do it. It only takes a few minutes to set up, or a few minutes to break down if you take your time, and the lower bungee cord set below the tailgate to pull the sides tight keeps the mosquitoes out. In the Eastern Sierras, we had one night of rain, and the rainfly kept us completely dry. This truck tent has made my wife and me extremely happy.
full-size and Because of what others have said about the door height and the fact that I am a tall A. topper. I experimented with both and decided to keep the full-length version. Because of the door opening, the size of the room has to be adjusted. However, because it's designed for a full-time job, it's not suitable for children. Because of the size, the corners do not fit perfectly. Although the reinforced corners aren't in the right place, I'll pad them to prevent wear. I'd prefer the larger (height) version. width) of the door opening I agree with another reviewer that it would be a better product if it allowed the windows to open further, allowing rain to run off away from the door and giving the interior a more spacious feel. I believe it will be a good product, but double-check your measurements for both before ordering if you have a newer model mid-model. size of a truck.
