To apply Permatex trim adhesive, follow these directions. The rubber contact cement consists primarily of rubber. Both surfaces should be allowed to dry before pressing.
IF the air temperature will drop below 55°F (13°C) in the next 24 hours, or if spray-on bed liner was used, then leave tailgate open for 24 hours beforehand. When closing tailgate, the flex film will separate from the surface. Depending on how you fold the middle, it can be folded upward or downward. The ROK BLOCK XL should be used on all Nissan Frontier pickup trucks, Ford Ranger 2019 and newer pickup trucks and all pickups sold overseas
Once the tailgate is removed, you can glue the one side back down (keep the other side loose) or just leave the one side loose.
My answer would be yes if it were perfect width. An impressive amount of force is applied to this product's adhesive. Be sure to dry the surface well after cleaning it. It is best to apply slowly since a rounded surface will be a challenge.

A Silverado with 15 cylinders. It is still 100% adhesive after 6000lbs of stone, some as big as 40 lbs. I am glad I used the extra adhesive. There are no sharp edges for things to catch on. Doesn't it make sense to wait so long for I like it a lot! I would like to work 11-12 This year's update is for 2020. I have not seen any rips or tears on the loading dock stone, topsoil, or mulch. Some spots have been reapplied with 3M adhesive. Describes how I feel.

When I was looking for a alternative solution, I stumbled upon the ROK BLOCK by accident, but I liked its concept so I was ready to give it a try. On Sunday, I found that this really works the problem had been solved.

To block the I looked for something to block. I'm glad this worked out for you. When I get mulch, rock, black dirt, etc. , I want the gap of my tailgate to be blocked off. The Roc Block has been a blessing to me. Due to my Rhino spray-in bed liner, I was a bit concerned about whether it would be compatible with my truck. This device performed beautifully after I followed the instructions. In order to ensure good adhesion, I used a rubber hammer. A new update is available for update 4 We still find it soft and malleable. As a side note I still love this product. It wasn't until last fall that I realized that the Roc Block is so good at sealing that rain water would not exit the tailgate. Due to the fact that I usually park outside and the drain holes in the front of the bed seem to overflow, that was a problem. My tailgate was down, so I carefully sliced a half circle at each end of the Roc Block to make a small space at the end for the water to exit.

Basically, they supply the "agent" so you can spread it on both sides (the areas where the covers will contact the However, I did not need all four tubes of agent they sent in the kit they say you can get more agent from Amazon The group recommended keeping the cover open for 24 hours unless it is very hot outside. I cooked it in 70degF for five hours. I liked how flexible the cover was and how well the glue held. The cover bonded very well with a roller (used to get any formica air bubbles out) and that really helped with removing the air bubbles from the formica.

The holder stays in place and appears indestructible, and I was a little skeptical about its durability. As I mentioned, I'm glad to have this, as I think it will prevent my tailgate from getting damaged.

Since I've only been using this for about six months, and I haven't made it through a full Minnesota winter, I can't comment on how it performs. I have not tested it yet, but it works great so far. It is a quality product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. I didn't have any trouble sticking my bed to it - When it was set up, I did have to tuck the gap cover in (I wanted it this way instead of facing out. That is a great way to prevent all the garbage from getting stuck in the spaces between the bed and the tailgate. It works even on the coldest days in winter. Thank you for my purchase! I'm very happy with it! In addition to getting one for my next truck, I will also get this for the one I have now.

This is why you end up with wrinkles on the whole thing, if you use it on a Chevrolet Silverado, which has ridges on the bed and no ridges on the gate. This is somewhat annoying, but it's not really their fault. What I am not pleased with is that it has several tears and has started coming off on one side within a few months. I have abused it heavily, but isn't that what the point is? The price of $30 for rubber is ridiculous, and it should last much.

What it says on the tin is exactly what it does. To prevent things from falling out of the bed and into the tailgate, keep your truck's bed and tailgate clear. I like it because it's easy to install and it looks nice. There is no need to worry. I have used this product often and it is still holding strong even after many tailgate openings. This product is a must have if you want to keep dirt, rocks, and other debris out of your tailgate/bed area.
