Instead of facing up, place the bulb on the bottom seal area. No light is allowed to pass through the tailgate because it is completely sealed. br>br>Clean, Clean, Clean the area where the weatherstripping will be applied to ensure that it adheres properly. It didn't bother me in the least when it came loose.
