I believe so because I have a 2019, but you will need a wire run from the back to the battery for this to work.
The black wire with the fuse holder is the one you connect to the battery, and it's included in the kit.
I placed an order for a year in 2013. I was unsure if it would work, but it did. When you unscrew the lights, you'll see the wires coming to a halt. When you pull out the connector, you'll see that there's a place to connect a harness. I hope this information is useful.

The connections to the existing brake light connectors were simple, and the instructions were very clear. I bought this for a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. It was also simple to mount the controller, and it's convenient that this kit includes everything you'll need. br>br>The only strange thing was the battery connections wire: there was no clear way to get a wire into the engine compartment without a lot of work if I ran it through the passenger cabin from the trunk to the front. I was able to poke it through a rubber grommet in the back compartment and run it under the car to the battery, thankfully. Although there were enough zip ties included to secure the cable from the back to the front, I would recommend adding a few more just to be safe. br>br>When I connected the controller to my trailer, it worked flawlessly, and I am very pleased with the results, despite the extra effort required to install it.
It was "fairly" simple to set up this system. Because of the items that must be removed and replaced on the vehicle, it is difficult. The kit, on the other hand, is well-made and functional. The most difficult part is getting a 12 gauge wire to the battery. On my 1998 Grand Marquis, it was simple to do, but the car ended up at Rodeheaver Boys Ranch. The 2012 Outlander Sport, on the other hand, was a unique experience. Instructions are clear, the design is attractive, and the hardware is functional, but getting to where you need to go is a pain. IT DOES, however, WORK. Work time is approximately 2 hours.
As mentioned in other reviews, the instructions do not include any instructions for connecting the power cable to the battery, which takes twice as long as the rest of the attachments and takes 45 minutes to complete. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because of this. If I hadn't been able to jack up the car (a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport), it would have been much worse. I considered running the wire under the baseboards, but that seemed like more work, and I could easily find a spot under the dash to do so.
Installation was a little difficult because the interior panels in the trunk had to be removed and I had to come up with my own power source for the wires in the trunk; it would have been very difficult to get a power wire from the trunk to the battery as the instructions suggest. I had no intention of destroying the vehicle by drilling holes in it. Overall, it's a great way to manage our jetski trailer's rights.
I opened the pack to take a look at it because I won't be able to install it for another week. While the wires appear to be identical to the display above, the instructions are an added bonus. br>Like their hitch, I found color photos of the installation on my vehicle, indicating which panels would need to be removed to gain access to the necessary wiring. The only drawback was that I had to run a wire from the battery to the hitch (which was not included). (Because I'd never done anything like this before, I assumed the power would come from the existing tail lights. ).
I had no problems installing this product; just read the instructions and go over the paperwork a few times to make sure you know what you're doing before you start. Cake.
The right side tail light stopped working after I disconnected it and replaced it with the original. These issues only lasted a week.
