Yes.
1/2 inch
It's just a guess, but I believe it's 3/4" in diameter based on my memory of installing the wire.
I'm not a chemist, so I can't say for sure what it's made of, but it appears to be a flexible plastic outer coating.

I'm building a homemade camper and wanted a clean installation of my marker-light. I was about to wire the taillights when I realized they weren't working. I have a 7-year-old son. In my setup, I wanted a second junction at the back for taillights to run into, so I used a two-way RV plug with an 8-foot cable to the first junction box on the tongue. Running to the back box with this 14/7 was a breeze. The rear box is home to all rear markers and taillights, while the front box is home to all front lights. There was no need for a 10awg ground wire because all of the lights are LEDs, and the brake wire isn't used because the trailer is equipped with surge brakes. Yes, I would purchase from this seller again if I required more.
I was a little hesitant to buy this wire because it didn't have many reviews, but I figured that because it was a few dollars more, it must be of higher quality. I'm not sure how it compares to other wires on Amazon because I only purchased this one, but the outer layer that holds all of the wires, the wire insulation, and the copper wire itself are all excellent. It appears to be solid copper strands, not tinned or aluminum, as far as I can tell. I'm not a wire expert, but it appears to be a good product.
Rebuilding a trailer and needed some quality wire, only needed 4 wires, but nothing compares to the extra protection over the inside wires, also a plus is that this will be used on a snowmobile trailer and what I've found is that it seems to stay flexible in the cold weather, it's still early and I've only used it a couple of times, so time will tell, the only negative would be what I feel is a smaller than average wire size, but it's minimal at that,.
Wires and insulation are nice and thick. My 16-foot trailer was ripped apart in the middle. It's difficult to reduce the amount of outer insulation. Requires the use of a razor blade. It'll be easier if you have someone to hold the insulation taut while you cut it back.
br>br>Quick turnaround With this second 7-wire run, I'll be able to power a rear-view camera. br>br>I'll also be able to power a rear-view camera. br>br>Both ends will use a seven-circuit junction box. br>br>Excellent for my project. br>br>However, I wouldn't use 14ga wire for electrical brakes.
Between the junction box and the back of the trailer, it worked perfectly.
It is made of 100% stranded copper and is well built of 100% stranded copper and is well% The casing is substantial and thick. This is the only cable on Amazon that I think is worth buying.
I had to zip tie this to the fuel line in order to route it to the back of my wife's car, where I'll be installing tow lights. This should last for many years without failing due to road debris and grime. With 2' to spare, the 20' length was ideal.
