Product Description

The CZC AUTO 12V Submersible LED Trailer Light Kit comes with two combination stop, tail, and turn signal lights, two amber LED marker lights, a 25-foot wiring harness, an aluminum license plate bracket instead of a plastic license plate for more stability, no bending, and a long lifetime.
Waterproof and submersible feature: We submerged the light for 3 hours, 3 times a day, for a total of 5 days, and it worked perfectly! Waterproof and submersible, the lights are a must. Before using a marine/underwater vehicle, please double-check that all wires are connected properly and that there are no electronic shorts.
There are no incandescent bulbs in the side lens light or side marker lights because they are all LED! LED quality is extremely bright, and it complies with DOT regulations.
Application for towing vehicles with a width of less than 80 inches, such as boats, trailers, trucks, snowmobiles, and so on. Please keep in mind that the PCB, not the housings, is sealed on these trailer lights. It's possible that the housings have large gaps in them. Water will flow in because the housings are not sealed, and the gaping holes are designed to allow the water to flow out.
There is no need for an additional ground connection because the ground wire ring connects easily to the bolt.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible that the brake light led is causing the blinkers to come on? Is it just bulbs or are they led strips? What are the benefits of the holes in terms of waterproofing?

Hello, the brake light, not the blinker, is always turned on. br>There are no bulbs or strips, and all of the lights are LED diodes. br>Water will flow in from the gap because the housing is not completely sealed, so holes will aid in the drainage of the water. It is important to note that the lights are sealed from the PCB, so this is not a problem.

Is it possible to use these with a 24 volt power supply?

12 V could be used to power the light.

The wiring on the side markers was yellow and gray, not white and brown as shown in the diagram. I'm not sure what color the ground is, but it's definitely not white. ?

My power wires were yellow and brown on one side, green and brown on the other, and white on the ground. Yellow, green, and brown are all power wires, with brown for running lights and yellow and green for turn and brake. The trailer frame was grounded using the short white wire that came out of the plug on the harness. If your lights have only two wires, they are most likely grounded internally via mounting bolts; otherwise, the ground wire should be grounded to the frame via an eyelet. I couldn't get a good ground on my trailer frame, so I had to run a separate ground wire from harness ground to each light.

Is there a mounting bracket for them to attach to the trailer?

This light does not come with a mounting bracket and is meant to be used in place of an existing light that does.

THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CABLE CONNECTOR, BUT THE CZC AUTO CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING
5/5

UPDATE: Due to the positive response from the seller, CZC Auto, the rating has been changed to a five. They responded quickly to my problem and offered to send a replacement kit for free. The new kit arrived in four days after it was shipped. Customer service is outstanding!! This trailer light set comes highly recommended! Original Issue: br>br>Original Issue: br>br>Original Issue: br>br>O This set of lights was purchased for my 30' boat trailer. It wasn't a big deal to add on an extra 6' of wire. The job was finally completed after two days. It was now time to put the system to the test, so I switched on the lights. Both the taillight and the running lights functioned flawlessly. Both the left turn signal and the brake light worked perfectly. NO BRAKES ON THE RIGHT TURN. Checked wiring and discovered no 12v coming from the cable connect on the green wire, but 12v was present on the source connector. Bottom line, the wire cable connector is faulty; however, the lights are excellent and receive a five-star rating. THE CABLE HARNESS IS CRAP AND RECEIVES A ONE STAR REVIEW! br>It appears that Amozon has no way of replacing a defective item in an order. Only returning the entire order is a viable option. br>Because I don't want to spend too much time on the installation, I'll buy a cable locally and splice in the connector end. br>This is not a satisfied client!.

Great

Everything was as expected, and the product is of excellent quality, and it was delivered on time and in good condition. Thank you so much, Seller! br>Unfortunately, Amazon has joined the ranks of "Giant Tech" in Cancel Culture (or call-back culture). Conservative Americans are being pushed out of social and professional circles in a modern form of ostracism known as "out culture" - either through social media, in person, or both As a result, I will no longer use Amazon to purchase or receive products. The corporation is an embarrassment to American ideals!.

2 "right side" lights were given to me at work
4/5

I just finished installing this kit; it took me about 3 hours to remove the old wires, determine where to place the new wires, and tie everything together. To be fair, I work slowly and this is my first time using a trailer light kit. If you've done this before, you'll be able to do it faster. I like it in general, but have extra ground connectors, drill bits, electrical tape, tie wraps, small nuts and bolts hardware, flat screwdriver (if you need to open up the wire connectors), nuts and bolts, and qty 2 of 3"x 4" x 1" thick small blocks of wood on hand. br>I only tested this kit for 2 miles in the dry, but I'll try to update it after I've drowned it a few times. br>br>A couple of points to note: br>1) I received two "right side" lights, but no "left side" lights (which are labeled on the plastic), so no license plate light for me. That's fine; I'll put the license plate on the back gate instead of below the light to prevent damage. br>2) REVISION: My kids hid the paper instructions on me, and there are instructions imprinted on the back of the tail lights; "right side," "green wire to right turn signal," "brown wire to running light," and "top side" are some of the terms used. I only had "right side" lights, so that's all I've got. This kit has all white wires grounded. br>3) The taillights are held in place by two bolts, as are many others. 4) The yellow side lights do not properly mount. A single bolt protruded from the back of the yellow lights when I replaced my old kit. On the sides of this light, there are two small screw holes. I ended up attaching a 3"x4"x1" thick piece of deck board to the metal frame and using the screws provided to secure the light to the wood. br>5) Because of the mud, it was difficult to remove the old wiring. The wires had been glued inside the small conduits for the wires by dobbers. It wasn't a big deal for me to find alternate wire paths. 6) The wiring length was more than adequate for my 6' trailer, so I simply rolled up the excess wire and tucked it into the frame. br>7) The wiring hardware is adequate, with the exception of the yellow light ground rings. They're garbage, and I'll be replacing them with good ones as soon as possible. The ground hardware is missing from the yellow lights, leaving only a stripped wire, which I assume is for different trailer wiring methods. Blue clamps are my favorite; I've used them before and find them to be more reliable than wire nuts. If you want or need them, it comes with wire nuts. br>8) I like the metal license plate bracket, but it's too low for my trailer. br>9) I'm not afraid to rip into something like this because I have all of the necessary parts, hardware, and electrical supplies in the shed. If you don't have one, open the kit and plan ahead of time to save yourself some time and a trip to the hardware store.

The lighting is excellent
5/5

Trailer lights, as we all know, are a waste of money. Nobody likes to spend a lot of money on trailer upkeep. These were purchased to replace a set from Harbor Freight that had been installed a few years prior. These lights are smaller and lighter than traditional incandescent bulbs. The installation was mediocre, but these lights are significantly brighter than the previous ones! I wasn't expecting much from these lights, but they exceeded my expectations. When was the last time you purchased something and were completely satisfied with it? Nothing is of any value any longer. Is this some sort of garbage? Probably. However, you can't go wrong for the price.

Poor quality and poor engineering
3/5

To begin with, without the insulation, the wire is about half the size of telephone wire, possibly 23 gauge. Wire connectors that are commonly used cannot be used. Working with something that is too small is extremely difficult. The tail lights are then made in the same way as the right side, with the exception that the left side requires turning the tail light upside down so that the clearance light is on the outside of the light. There is also a distinction between the light's top and bottom. Then there's the trailer-to-truck connection, which isn't standard and could make mounting on the left side difficult. To replace it, I'll need to get a regular connector. Instead, go to Harbor Freight and purchase a Kenway wiring kit with good wiring and connectors. br>Product description-- At the same price as someone who has good engineering and good quality, there is someone who has poor engineering and poor quality.

The room is lit up brightly
4/5

These lights were installed just a few days ago. For the light connections, I used tinned marine wire, a new 7-wire junction box, and some of those outdoor water-proof boxes. BUYERS BEWARE: br>br>WARNING: The yellow wire was connected to the running light brown wire, and the grey wire was connected to the ground. The polarity is reversed. BEFORE INSTALLING, CHECK THE WIRES. br>I used screw down connectors in the boxes and checked my wiring with a power probe (glorified test light) to find that my wiring was correct, but the yellow and grey on the side marker was reversed. I hope this information proves useful to someone else in the future. br>br>As many others have stated before me: The wire kit they send is a complete waste of time. Better wires should be installed. I probably spent another $75 on tinned marine wire, junction boxes, and Wesbar 4 pin jacketed wire, all of which were well worth it. br>br>The lighting is incredible. The colors are so vibrant!.
