Is the number 816 on the left or right side of the road?

The right side (as seen from the back) is 816. The number 815 refers to the side on which you are standing.

Is it possible to transport this? Is the tail light on the trailer 816 submersible?

No, the wiring connections would be visible, and the housing cavity would be unprotected. If you're putting it on a boat trailer to launch down a ramp, I've heard of people simply unplugging the connection to their vehicle before lowering it into the water to prevent it from shorting out, and then letting it drain and dry before reconnecting.

What's the best way to connect the green and brown wires on the bulb?

My trailer is equipped with LED lights, whereas the one I ordered was equipped with bulbs. I just replaced the lenses because my lights were still working.

The light is the wrong one

I ordered the wrong one, but I couldn't tell because it had led lights instead of a bulb, and I couldn't tell because I couldn't tell on the website. However, since I only required the lenses, it worked out.
