Questions & Answers

This is intended to fit a 1995 Ford Ranger, right?

My kit fits a 95, but I don't remember if it fits a 96

As you can see, I have stock auto locking hubs on my 1994 Putting warn manual locking hubs on stock auto hubs is a hassle. Do I have to get any tools?

You might want to check the Warn website. I believe they list a set of spindle nuts that are required as well. If not, nothing else will happen. All that was required was the replacement manual hubs for the spindles and the extra nut kit. you understand the year, make, and model of the machine you want. If you want to match exact parts from Warn's website, then just use their part numbers.

Do you have this part for my 2000 Ford Ranger ?

You need to use a front suspension with the Twin Traction Beam up until 1997.

The site says they fit 23 spline axles, which is not a 35 in my dana, so I am wondering if these will fit my truck. This is for a 23 spline or a 27 spline?

An outer axle stub shaft that has 27 splines will fit on these hubs. On whether the D35 is a digital or analogue camera, I am I wish you the best of

A great product at a great price on Amazon! It consists of The 1996 Ford Ranger XLT is a 4 door model with a manual transmission

A 5 speed manual with a 7' bed, and I have decent mechanical skills, but I usually don't do much work on my own cars unless it is really major or requiring a machine or tool I don't have. . . They were pretty easy to install almost like changing a tire if you have manual hubs and are replacing them with these it will be a cake walk in 30 minutes The 1 hour job is the best. As for swapping bad auto hubs if you're like me, then the process may take a little longer, but it'll not be that difficult. I followed the instructions pretty closely, but the pictures with my instructions were blurry so badly that I could not make out what it was saying I knew what to do, but since I had never done this exact job, this exact vehicle, or this exact swap before, I wanted to double check the procedures. It cured all of the problems and sounds that my auto hubs were making. I had been using 3 wheel drive and my hubs was often engaging randomly and grinding itself to death when I hit a bump. Now they are functioning as they should and I am no longer hearing any issues. The problem with my auto hub was caused mostly by someone overgreasing the inside of the hub. It had way too much grease in it. The two of them were virtually toast. To complete my job, I needed a two-way radio. A 3/8 wheel nut socket, since the wheel nut retainer on my vehicle was over tightened/stuck. There are other tools you need, but I didn't expect to need that therefore, I mentioned it. The materials used are of very high quality!.

Four-wheel drive vehicle that is reliable
5/5

You can say goodbye to those unreliable vehicles A locker. Why I did not attempt this earlier is beyond me. In New Mexico, I was driving on a snowy mountain road during an unpleasant moment. As I went up a hill, my four wheel drive did not engage and I was stuck. Gladly, I was able to get out of that situation and order Despite the fact that you will need the Warn 32720 spindle nut kit, they are extremely easy to install. A review of that item is here and that one had some quality problems. Don't forget a 2 3/8" spindle nut socket to complete the installation. In addition to the $20 nut kit, you will need the bearing kit to service your rotors and bearings after you install may have taken a bit over an hour for both sides to be installed. As a matter of fact, it took more time to jack up the truck and remove the wheels (using an air impact wrench) than it did to change the hubs themselves. Oh, and the big socket was needed to remove the This is the size that I already had, but I do not remember what its size is.

There is no doubt that I prefer manuals over the unreliable automatics, so long as they are dependable
4/5

Despite these shortcomings in quality, these hubs are marketed as a means for Warn to cut costs. They still have 1/4 of the budget available for the rest The actuation of the turn does not offer I am engaging The splines fit up with no problem since the spring load pushes them into place when the axle rotates. Disengaging, however, now you're fighting spline friction with a minimal mechanical edge. There is just one thing you need to do to disengage - you must have the wheels loose/unloaded. It is not always easy to meet this requirement in off-campus Things that can go wrong on the road. 3/4 of the rest of it It's the fact that the actuators are plastic that's the real problem. It shouldn't be a big deal if you keep them lubricated, they won't wear out easily. The pliers won't break if you never use them. I melted the dang plastic pieces in my hubs after I overheated the hubs because of a brake issue. There were ugly grinding noises and potential for metal filings to get into my wheel bearings since my hubs have gone into partial engagement. That's too bad. The next set in my series will feature all-new songs Materials such as metal and 3/4-inch plywood Then turn around.

This is quality
5/5

The auto hubs were winding and gears binding on my 94 explorer. It sounded really bad, like something was going to break, so I installed the manual hubs along with the spindle hardware so no driving yet but it seems like everything is working fine. You can buy these assembled on your lazy susan and they are very easy to install.

As a result, the hub is stronger
4/5

I bought it to replace my Dana 35 TTB front axle on my Ranger. This is my first POS auto hub, and I'm very pleased with it. Installation is simple, and I'm done. But there's something this hub lacks. My discovery after purchasing them was that they were not as durable as the hubs with P/N 37780 that Warn introduced together with their full-sized wheels Conversion kits for YJ and TJ Jeep Wranglers that enable the rear axles to float. A rear axle hub had to be exceptionally strong since it would be used on the rear of the vehicle. Jeep hubs look and function the same as traditional hubs, except for their hat-style covers. You can replace it directly with this product. This is a quote It is wise to do your own research first. I did not buy 37780. Instead, I purchased 29071, which I am currently reviewing, but I believe the above information is correct.

I think that it's fine, but I wish that it was better for just a few dollars more
3/5

The auto-transformer was malfunctioning and the new one was purchased It was new to me in 1996. I have had the Ranger since then. It seems to work well, but I don't like the internal locking mechanism requiring a jam nut. It would be better if the lock was more positive. About 3 years ago, the markings were still visible, but they have since faded. I think I might have been better off spending the extra money for the all-metal versions. Moreover, whenever you remove the wheel, the wheels tend to "fall off. ". The factory hubs are restricted to only being held in place by the wheel nuts, so we will need some short washers to create an interference fit the way the drums are held in.
