I apologize, but I believe the brunt of 7,000 lbs is gone. The hubs have 1/2" studs and are 7,200 pounds. The axles and most of the 8,000 pounds are dexter. There is a difference in the spindle diameter and the 9/16" studs, so the axles will use 9/16" studs.

There is no way to attach it to a trailer axle rated at 6000 pounds. You will need to check your rear bearing and seal to ensure it fits. In my search, I found that most trailer idler axles without brakes are 6000 lbs. It is likely that they will fit their drum if one is available.
The hubs are made of the same materials as high end hubs, but for half the price. I plan to buy more when they run out.
My experience with this company has been excellent. I have purchased four different hubs from them. One hub received came with 2 sealing rings that were damaged beyond repair. I was not able to use the hub with 2 broken seals. In the email I sent to the company, they immediately resolved the matter. That matters just as much to me. I would definitely buy from them again.
The product is good.
The small shaft product worked just fine had everything inside and also came with two sets of seals for two different sizes.
It was great to read this hub! You can use this hub to replace an 8-lug axle on a mobile home. I got the larger seal and bearing to fit a mobile home axle from my old vehicle. I can say that this 8 lug hub is.
