It was a perfect fit for my Promaster 2500 with a high roof and a 159-inch wheelbase. Should work with your 3500 as well.

I believe the ladder is rated for 250 pounds and, when installed according to the instructions, has no effect on the back up camera.

The first ladder I received was incorrect, but it was simple to return it to Kohl's, and I ordered a replacement that was perfect in fit and finish. It was incredibly simple to set up. For the time being, I've been relying on the hardware that came with it. the four pads on the bottom, as well as the two sheet metal screws It's solid and sturdy, and it complements the Promaster 3500 highroof perfectly. The chrome ladder and silver paint scheme simply improve the overall appearance. In the future, I might drill and bolt the bottom through the door to prevent it from being easily stolen. I'm not sure if people would do such a thing, but bolts at the bottom would be simple to install.
The rear door of a Promaster high top van has a good sturdy ladder. br>For added security, secure the top with two screws and a spare tire.
Unfortunately, and understandably, putting a metal wedge between the door and the door frame will almost certainly result in a leak during a heavy downpour. br>Previously, the door did not leak, and you don't need an engineering degree to figure out why this design causes water leaks in heavy rain. br>Apart from that, it's a 7 out of ten.
This ladder arrived in perfect condition. It has a hook that hooks over the door and screws into the bottom of the door. It even includes pads to put in the parts that actually touch the door to protect the paint. The only thing I would suggest is discarding the ladder's included screws. They didn't appear to be able to keep the ladder in place. Instead of the included screws, I used some short, self-tapping sheet metal screws that I had on hand. Aside from that, it appears to be an excellent ladder.
I stick to what works and what works well for me. The first two are still on the road and show no signs of rust. Installation is simple, and the product is built to withstand the elements.
Over the backdoor, it fits perfectly. I'll have to bolt it down because I don't have the tools, but it appears to be well-made and long-lasting. I'm glad I got it at such a low price.
For our cargo van, this is a nice ladder.
Excellent product.
