It's perfect. Choosing this shackle hitch receiver is the best approach if you need one. Stop searching for anything else, just select this and check out. There is a solid steel part to this item. A hook is attached to the receiver by welding. The tank will probably be able to pull you. I like the red accents, they add some style. You are allowed to remove the red stripe if you don't like it. I am very pleased with the outcome. I like this product very much.

The hitch is as it appears - glossy black/red with a bit of weight - so you can expect it to meet the specifications it states. I can clearly see the plastic cusp on the shackle itself and it's pretty sturdy. I don't believe it will fall, as it adhered to the roof - This pin does not come off easily, nor the rod for the shackle, although with time, since the rod is threaded, a pin could back out, as I saw in some reviews. My intention is to only attach the hitch when I need it, which is often, so no loss is to be feared. Another option would be to leave the post part of the hitch itself on, allowing the shackle itself to remain in place to As it does not come with a locking hitch pin, you will have to purchase one separately to prevent theft. Based on the high capacity of this product, in comparison to the others, plus "never rust" - if it is true - it seems like a really good value for the cost. At this point, I would say it's worth a try, but the proof will be in the pudding when I actually use it.
The thing has already proven to be quite useful just a couple of days after I ordered If your tow strap doesn't stay attached to your recovery vehicle when reclaiming a vehicle, then you've got plenty to worry about. As a result of this, you can put that out of your mind as a matter of preparation. There is one thing I am not really satisfied with, and that is the red plastic jobby which did not seem to stay in place on either the d-links or this. It also seems completely unnecessary for them to be there, so I'm not concerned. It's not cheap, so I bought it because it had a higher rating. Well, the shackle itself is 9 inches long, which is a surprise for me. Like everyone else, I have 5K as well. The 11K stamp appears to be for the receiver mount and I think the 11K stamp is for the rest of them as well, since it looks like they are probably all I still think this is a great deal and I am happy with the product. The amount of money you spend is not bad. The material seems to be of good quality. Yet, I have not backed out the pin or rather unthreaded the pin to check it out. It just doesn't fit into the truck receiver, and that is really my only complaint. There is an additional 1/4" inch on each side and a further quarter inch below the top. This is similar to how the used a close equivalent in metric. definitely work when in use, but it will be a real rattle master when it isn't. There is no need for this tightness, in fact it is quite loose and it looks as though it could be unnatural.
Attaching this hitch attachment to your vehicle is very useful. Using this product will make dragging things around my land more convenient by making it easier to hook up tow straps. Even after hauling felled trees out of the woods for six hours on a weekend, the road held up well. Using the shackle that came with it, it was easy to connect or disconnect the tow strap when I'm not sure how much force was placed on it, but it handled dragging 60 foot long tree trunks that were 24" in diameter across uneven ground just fine. I also like the way it came packaged, and I plan on storing it in that box for now. During the ride, everyone will be protected from rattles since everything will remain together. It will be interesting to see if it stays free of rust. Due to use, it got scratched up (which is to be I believe this would be a great option if you needed to attach tow straps to your rig quickly. Compared to local stores, the prices are also much more reasonable.
