Despite being tight, it doesn't feel totally snug There was a slight rattling to be heard. A tighter fit was achieved by wrapping duck tape around the 2inch adapter and pushing it into the 2 1/2 receiver. We have towed an 02 Jeep Cherokee on an auto transport trailer 1800 miles and have noticed rattles.
if it is just my 2 but it works just fine. The factory receiver is 5". You may have me measure the area if you wish.
), but the truck has a 1/2" square hole. It is one of the most popular hitches because it fits in the truck receiver well and will fit in 2" receivers.
" Surely there is a place to put this? It is very problematic that all these reducers/adaptors have such a large range of play and have a large amount of slop! There's something really annoying about that! After visiting a trailer shop, I finally found the right trailer for my needs The hitch was replaced with a new one!

It's rare to find someone who mentions measurements in their review, so I was concerned about buying the product without understanding all the details. It's very common that parts look like they will fit and then later you find out that they are too big / too small and won't fit.
In my particular case, the retention resembled a retaining wall A pin hole in the hitch was not centered (from top to bottom), so the oblong hole in the adapter was needed. The product also has an end part that has a flange, which means you need to know whether the retaining ring can fit or not There will be a pin hole in the sleeve that will line up with the retaining pin After the sleeve has been fully seated in the hitch (flange against flange), a pin hole will appear in the hitch. In doing some research on Mopar sites, I found this same OEM part, and decided to buy it because I believed it was the correct part despite not knowing for sure what it was. It was exactly what I needed and it was good quality. The trailer was towed with a weight distribution hitch and the trailer was 7000 lbs or less without issue. The pictures should provide the visuals for these specifications, but here they are in writing as well This gives an overview of the length of the document This item is 7-1/4 inches long, including the The sleeve insert's width and height (excluding the flange) are 1/4 inches apart The dimensions are 7/16 inches x 2 inches It fits smoothly into two holes of 7/16 inches (the 5" hitch)
Flange The dimensions of this 5/8" device are. • Retaining - A hole that looks like a pin A rectangular object has the following dimensions The following are the dimensions 15/16" The width is From the center of the retaining - 11/16 in The distance from the pin hole to the nearest flange shoulder is The length of the sleeve from the center of the hole to the edge of the top edge is 7/8 inches. Approximately 1/4 of an inch.
The first hitch adapter I had was lost when I forgot to remove it, so I had to purchase this one (part number# I installed it on my 2021 RAM Diesel 4x4 with a 6'4" bed and it looks and fits the same as my old adapter did. As soon as I got this new adapter, I spray painted the end orange, so after I remove the 2" drawbar, the orange stand out screaming "remove me and put me in the truck. ". haven't forgotten to remove this adapter that I have.
I was expecting a bit more attention to detail in terms of cosmetics from an OEM part, but this is functionally exactly what it should be. There was a sticker on the front of the bag proclaiming that this item was made in Mexico. As far as the actual size of the unit is concerned There is space for it in 2 When fully inserted into the 5" receiver of my 2016 RAM 2500, there is just a slight amount of room between the OD of the adapter and the ID of the original/stock receiver. When the adapter is fully inserted, the pin holes all line up perfectly. Fits nicely inside the adapter sleeve for my 2" hitch. The only disappointment was that the part looked a bit damaged when it arrived (see pictures). It would be nice to see a little more pride in craftsmanship come straight from the powdercoater, as I'm sure there will be more dings added by myself later.
This was exactly what I needed, it fits great, much better than the cheaper generic one I used before, which had to be positioned carefully in order to function. The one here seems to pop up and line itself up perfectly.
I find it difficult to line all the things The one in this picture slides in perfectly and lines up the holes nicely!.
It sounded like it would be a perfect fit for my F250, so I bought it because of all it's positive reviews. The current one fitted perfectly and was a lot tighter than the old one I had been using, which was what I had been looking for. The product is fantastic!.
Worked for me. This program is suitable for what it is intended for. The purpose of a square tube of steel is to fit inside of another tube of steel, and then to go around a smaller tube of steel. A durable finish and holes that line up seem to be present.
These holes are positioned exactly where they should be. The product is very rugged. It is absolutely accurate as well as working.
