Questions & Answers

Yes, it includes a mirror and bracket, is that right?

That's correct, it works just fine. Putting the boat cover on the pontoon was easy because I could easily unscrew the pole from the mounting bracket. As it turned out, I had to hack the hardware to attach the mirror to the pole, but I managed to mount the mirror nonetheless. It is my hope that this helped.

On my pontoon boat, I have closed rails. The bracket and mirror are supposed to mount from the outside, but will they work?

There are full panels on my pontoon It was easy to attach the mirror to the top of the rail frame, which is 1-inch thick The square is 1/4' in size.

How many square inches does the mirror have?

In the mirror, the following message is displayed In short, nbsp 775 mm x 533 mm The following dimensions are 25" long x 15" wide Eight hundred and seventy-five X one hundred and eight

Are you selling the bracket without a mirror, or with the mirror included?

The mirror is included in the kit

A simple and easy way to connect and detach
5/5

If you pull tubes, you've got to have it! My husband loves it! Got it for our pontoon and it's been a big hit! You can see what is coming up behind you and, most importantly, you can keep an eye on the kids behind you as you pull them along! The band can be easily attached and removed. The price is definitely worth it!.

I am very impressed with the The only flaw is a small one! The mirror is of good quality and I was pleasantly surprised by it
5/5

During the assembly, I had no issues. The mounting screws on my boat rail don't fit tightly, and the bracket is obviously made for larger frames, so when I tried to mount it on my boat rail, I wasn't able to tighten it. In the end, I found out it was an advantage for me because I did not like the way the set screws marked my rails (as many other folks have noted). The rail and the mounting bracket now work smoothly after I put a thin piece of wood between them. The other reviewer who submitted this suggestion to include a thin piece of rubber or other soft material between the rail and the mounting screw is right on. The manufacturer would not have to spend much money on it, and it would be a huge.

Control of quality is lacking
3/5

It's a beautifully crafted mirror and I was impressed with how it was set up and constructed. However, just like several others, there is at least 1/4" extra space between the bracket and the screw holding the mirror. There is a wobble in the mirror. I called Cipa customer service and the representative said he was not aware of the problem, nor had he read any of the reviews that complained about this particular part. There were many of them.

He told me to mention it to their quality assurance department and that it was made overseas. He also wished me good luck. The question is Cipa's goal is to ensure that its parts are correctly assembled, so what does that have to do with the parts it sells?.

I received a different product than what I had ordered
3/5

As a result of receiving a mirror that wasn't like the one pictured, I gave it a low rating. had been hoping for the one pictured because the support rod has a right angle bend on it, which positions the mirror to the side. Also, the height is adjustable by inserting a pin into a specific hole, which eliminates the possibility of it adjusting Instead of what I requested, I was sent the one that you can see on It looks similar, but the line of support rod is straight and telescoping instead. It's very nice to have a mirror like this. It disappoints me that the mounting setup does not match what I had envisioned.

The work is just shoddy
4/5

Other issues I have are related to The mirror and mounting bracket appear to be well made but I have a couple of issues. First, it does not seem that the threads on the ball holding the mirror on the arm are all the way through. A second issue is that the mounting bolts in the rail bracket are directly inserted into the rails of my pontoon. If this intermediate piece had been available, it would have prevented me from damaging the rails of my boat. My mind says that it would have been a simple addition that would have improved the product's credibility. As a result of my mirror mounting bolt issue, I am not yet able to mount it on my boat. In the event that I am able to resolve that issue, I will review further. You should update your mirror after having used it. It took me only a few minutes to mount the mirror with a replacement screw found in a hardware store. A cushion is fabricated by me and placed between my pontoon rail and the mirror bracket to protect it from scratches. As a result, I have an excellent view of areas I was constantly turning around to inspect in the past. I can put it out of the way of my cover because it folds down nicely. If it had not been for the screw issue and had they included some kind of padding to protect my boat rail, I would have given this mirror five stars. I would give it a four-star rating however if it were already a five-star product.

There is an error in the screws provided! I liked the product, but found the packaging to be poorly constructed since HAD TO INSTALL WITH 4 SCREWS OUT OF THE 4 REQUIRED.

This is a great size
5/5

My husband has neck problems and is always asking me if there are any boats coming up on our rear. I bought him this as a surprise. His excitement over getting a mirror is not limited to the fact that he can now check things out for himself, but he was also impressed with how easy it is to install and how big it is.

There is no hardware package to install the mirror on pontoon boats
3/5

Even though I bought this at the beginning of January, I have not put it in the water yet. As I tried to install the Boat mirror this morning, I found that every piece of hardware to assemble it was missing, including A pair of (2) Hex head set screws (D) plus two. A 5 mm Allen wrench, a mount bushing cap (F),a mirror mount boot (e),a Hex head mount screw (c), and an allen wrench with 3 mm hex head. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to get this hardware quickly. Ken LaBrack can be found at 125 Island Road. I am located at 1450 Winchendon Ave, Winchendon,.
