First of all, let me say that the winch arrived ten days ago, but I only got around to installing it with my son ten days later. started to unpack the winch, the cables were well arranged. Except for a small cable that came from the control box, everything seemed straightforward. As my son and I figured it was an antenna wire for the remote, we both assumed it must be an antenna wire. Our winch was then tested by tying it to the grill and then cable tying it to the backside. There is nothing to report. Unfortunately, you won't receive a workie. Hopefully the winch comes with a wiring diagram or instructions that inform you that it is the ground for its control board inside the sealed controller, leading to all of this not happening. We watched a number of videos of people installing the winch, but not one of them showed where the wire went. As I still had no luck with the winch, I tried the customer service number, which leads you to an answering machine that cannot take any messages. So by now I am pretty upset, so I wrote an email to explain firmly that the winch would not even make Approximately six hours had passed when I received a return email with a wiring diagram and troubleshooting guide. The cable is grounded to the ground stud as shown, and my goodness, I am ecstatic with how well it works. It took us a few tries to pull the jeep up the 7% grade in the yard and launch a few old pickup trucks from their resting spots with the winch mounted on a 14 JK Wrangler Rubicon. Generally, I would prefer instructions to be included in the shipping box instead of having to email someone who is not being kind to me. because of this that I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a I know one of my son's friends also ordered the winch after he was impressed with it. Two of them will go on Cherokees, one on a Toyota pickup and one on a 20 Cherokee. The pilot will not have to read the review and go through the battle with the mystery small ground cable that appears to be.
A winch this good for this price is extraordinary. Finally, at this price you can get a synthetic winch, with no maintenance required You don't need silly colors if you're going black. A tree with a pulley system was tested. It worked perfectly. The installation process was easy for the most part but any winch may take some time to set up.
The quality of this thing doesn't even compare to anything I've seen for less than $700, yet it costs less than half as much. My only complaint is that the 13,000lb text faded from red to pink in 2 weeks and completely out within a month of my truck sitting outside. It's a pretty minor problem.
For $345, I was surprised at what I received. With a 13,000-pound winch, synthetic line, a remote, wireless control, and relay box, it's equipped with a remote and wireless control. This is amazing. The winch and remote and wireless remote have yet to be installed, but the power has been hooked up and I have tested them. There is no problem. Thus far, the only negative feature of the gear shifter is that you cannot clock it, as you can on the warning If you are planning to install the winch inside a bumper as I am, you have to remember this. As you can see from the pictures, I was able to move the shifter to the down position by moving the warning winch. It is evident that this Chinese company was unaware of this feature when they copied the warn winch. Covers can be rotated, but the bolt holes fail to line up with each other. As for the shifter, I can move it right up against the body no problem, but it may be hard to grab. I rarely use it anyway, as I usually power out. A second negative was the fact that there wasn't much grease covering the gears in the gear box. Probably the reason why this winch is so loud is because of this. It would be best to open up the container and add more grease if you actually intend to use it.
If I bought this from warn, I would have spent over $2,000 on it. Please see pictures if there are any issues.
I will update if there are any issues. BR* BR* BR*.
Have had it for about two months now, have used it several times, and there are no issues at all. The heavy duty power cables and the connections at the solenoid box are the best I've ever The plus sign and the plus sign In addition to the extra long cables and inline circuit breakers, there is a considerable amount of space provided for routing cables to the battery. I have not tested it yet, but it is supposed to be waterproof. In terms of wireless remotes, they work beautifully and are responsive. Reviewers have said that the instructions were difficult to follow, so it was hard to turn it on. DIRECTLY on one page of the instructions, the author instructs you to hold both buttons on the remote in order to enable it. A self-cleaning system is also built in You should turn the remote off when you aren't using it so that the batteries aren't dead the next time you need it.
The synthetic rope is every bit as thick (3/8") as Over obstacles, the sheath is long enough to protect. I don't have a problem with the rope itself, but the hook provided is hard to fit into the loop on the end. Having a hook like that is a problem. Lastly, I would like to voice an objection It is a joke to attach stickers to your Jeep that are so large they can hardly be used.
I was pleased with how well the winch pulled. There are no issues with the parts it comes with. It's a waste of money to have the remote connector! Here is a picture of the first use of the piece that came apart. Due to the brackets and such being installed, it's more economical to fix it myself than to send it back to the manufacturer. However, if it weren't for that, I would have easily given it a 5-star rating I give this rating five stars. A shotty workmanship review and the bolts that are all different sizes keep the quality review below average. Now, it's not clear how long it will last, but as stated above, the thing pulls fine. I THINK IT IS VERY INSAFE. I could not stop the motor once I released the IN button while using to pull a garden tractor. It was only before major damage occurred to the mower, nearby vehicle, and winch that I disengaged the battery. The second time that this product has been In a "click" the control box and all the wiring made once the power was cut. The machine was then re-hooked up and the job was finished. Hopefully I will not experience this problem again in the future if I use the wireless remote.
