For compact tractors, good chains are available

I am very pleased with how well these chains fit my tractor's rear wheels. A pair of 26x12 tires are mounted on the rear of my tractor. From 00 to Included is a tensioner, which is a nice touch. Although the clasping mechanism is a bit tricky and hard to operate when the chains are tightly laced to the tires, they are easy to install. It remains to be seen how durable these chains will be. A very light material appears to have been used for them. The only exception is they won't be used at higher speeds or on the highway. In addition, I can only recommend these chains for snow and dirt. But, all in all, I have no complaints or reservations about their quality.

Despite the chains working just fine, Chinese rubber that was included in the tensioner was of poor quality

A single season of infrequent use resulted in the tensioner's rubber being cracked and most of its elasticity being lost. A new apparatus with a longer life expectancy will have to be installed.
