A proper connection is provided for the mirror to be attached to the motor on the backer. The only problem is that it only has two connectors and does not dim automatically. It's something I am really missing. This facilitates its movement and heats it up.
Hello, yes, that is correct. The lights are heated, but they are not auto-dim.
The part fits my 2008 grand cherokee laredo, and I think it also fits other models from 2005 to 2007 Since 2010 is about the same as 2009, I am sure that it would also apply to these years. The following may be of help.
The mirror I replaced on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee fit perfectly. I am unable to comment on the exact model of the Jeep.

I watched a YouTube video that showed me how to remove the old mirror and replace it with the new one. A very easy installation was performed. It's worth mentioning that this mirror does not come with the two metal clips that came on the It was possible, however, to remove the metal clips and slide them into the slots of the new mirror after using a screwdriver to remove the two metal clips from the old.
The replacement mirror glass for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee drivers side is exactly what I was looking for. After I received it, I had it installed within ten minutes, and I found it to be very simple to install. In order to line it up in the mirror frame, I pressed it rapidly and firmly together with a gloved hand behind the car's mirror frame and the other folded hand towel between the glass and my hand, working fast and hard until it clicked into place. The system works perfectly for me. I have driven with it.
I had no problems plugging in, and a small push along the way, I had a I completed the exercise in under I am amazed at how simple it is.
Fits like a glove. I replaced my old mirror on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in a matter of minutes. In the original mirror, the gold color had turned and made it difficult to see through. There has been a report about this happening when the auto dimmer fails. To me, this one did not have an auto dimmer, but to others it would be a major issue. The mirror with light automatically dimmed had a 4 way dimmer, if I remember correctly Mirror worth five times as much as the original.
Using this mirror, I was able to replace an old damaged side mirror on my Jeep. After removing the old mirror and attaching the new mirror, the process was extremely simple. You have a great sense of This is the perfect.
A perfect fit for my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited's window mirror. I purchased this to replace a damaged one. In its original form, the mirror was warped and did a poor job reflecting objects. Dealers wanted the price to be in the range of $100 for removing and replacing. We bought it and swapped it out for less than five minutes. I have no problems with the wires fitting into the You can find videos on YouTube that demonstrate the process if you don't know how to replace. There is no need for tools, and it is easy.
On my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2009, this mirror snapped into place with no problem. Using the remote was not a problem. To date, I have not been able to test the defroster, but it has worked fine.
In the old mirror, two metal brackets were fitted onto the new frame and a new mirror was inserted into the old frame. Although, you do not have to have them for the mirror to fit. It would be worth it to buy again if another mirror broke!.
