No more sputters or pinging in my car because of this. I've added at least 50 horsepower, and my race Hyundai is attracting attention everywhere I go. br>Update: This bad boy has been claimed by the ladies. br> Scoop is still safe AF as of today, March 14th, 2019. To keep my fans off my property, I had to hire a full-time security guard. I blocked TMZ's phone number because they wouldn't stop calling me. I like the hood scoop, but it draws a lot of unwanted attention to myself. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is constantly pestering me, asking if he can ride in my whip. I self-taped some sweet front splitters, hot glued some side vents, and rattle canned my rims gold, and now I can't sleep. I'm considering selling my work of art and replacing it with something more understated, such as a new Lambo or a GT400.
The glue melts and runs, but it looks great and is simple to mount on a FLAT SURFACE ONLY. The glue melted and spilled all over my hood. I used a variety of products to remove it. It's a complete disaster! br>During the day, the sun is between 80 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The glue melted when the temperature reached 90 degrees Fahrenheit. br>It's terrible, and there's no one to blame because it's Amazon!.
I'm hoping it sticks around.
It's only been a year since the paint was applied, and it's already peeling. In some places, the paint is flaking off. My automobile is kept in a garage. It is not something I would advise you to purchase.
The product is made of fairly inexpensive plastic, and it arrived (albeit promptly as promised) with the vent screen's edge already broken away from the plastic molding. Because there is no lip around the edge, you'll have to rely on the ultra-thin strip of tape to keep it in place, as applying epoxy would be a mess. I would recommend using if you have a friend who owns a body shop, because surface preparation is critical (serious alcohol cleaning is required for tape to adhere) and the ambient temperature must be above 70 degrees. Use them to assist with precise placement/alignment, as any mistakes once stuck on your hood can be costly.
They look fantastic on my 1995 Civic Ex sedan.
It's super simple to put on, and while I haven't driven around with it on yet, it appears to stick to the hood quite well! Not only that, but it also appears to be absolutely stunning. br>br>The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's obvious it's made cheaply. The plastic molding isn't perfectly smooth on all edges, and the sheet wire inside the scoop is glued in place. br>br>Overall, it's a fantastic product that gives my car a badass look! It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose.
The black paint on it was high gloss black and flawless, thank you for a great product.
