Is there a template included to show where the hole on the hood should be cut?

No, but it's not difficult to figure out. I had to cut the louvers and drill some new holes, which isn't difficult either if you take your time. I made some side panels for a 1934 Ford coupe, and they're very well made.

Is it possible that these would be affected by rain? My jeep is off-road capable, but it also serves as my daily driver?

Hello, we've been selling this style of louvered panel, as well as the smaller XJ louvered panels, for several years and have only received one email from a customer in Niagra Falls. On top of the motor on his XJ, there was a bad wire connector that had gotten wet. The Jeep began to drive erratically as a result of this. There were no more issues after the connector was replaced. br>I hope this is of assistance.br>Dave from RodLouvers
