My friends all liked this ram bar very much and I received a lot of compliments about This bar sits very close to the front and does not leave a huge gap like I see with most bars of this type. It had a slight bend in the front end from an old plow that once used to be on it, so I had to weld It seems to have worked out better this way. My bumper is touching the truck, so I've mentioned that it's really tight to the truck. This is a good product, I have moved two cars with it and climbed all over it to work on the truck without any movement. I would get another one for my next truck.

I love it. There are some difficulties gaining access to the nut on the inner most bolt. The construction is excellent.

It cost a little over $290 to buy this bar. You can keep an eye on the price, as it may go upwards or downwards. I watched it for 7 months before I bought it. I also had the shipping company place it in the back of my suburban at work, well done. There is no doubt that this bar is very well made and is very sturdy. When I was trying to put it on, I encountered a problem. In older trucks with factory bumper blocks, such as my 1993 Suburban, the front bumper is made from plastic. There will be no way to install this bar over or behind these blocks, so they first had to be removed. This bar could have been a little wider, but that is the only complaint I have. I would have needed to thin it down by about 1/2 inch for it to work well. After I sent the company an e-mail, they responded promptly Emails were exchanged, and it was confirmed that the blocks indeed need to be removed and that this is the correct model for the The five stars would have easily been 5 if this had not happened.

There is nothing bad to say about this product. To go with my 96 K1500, I ordered this cattle guard. We received the delivery right on time, and the installation took just The sockets are 18mm, so you'll need two of them. The time would be cut in half if we used air tools. Only thing I don't like about this picture is that you can't see the "bumper" style things on the front. I also didn't expect the powdercoat to be glossy, but it was.
