Yes, the installation went smoothly for me.
My vehicle is a 2020 Ford 150 Transit AWD. It is a good match. However, if your van has front parking sensors, the bumper guard will activate the sensor, requiring you to turn off the park sensor on the dash every time you start the van.
I actually hit a deer with mine, albeit a small one, probably only 6 months old. It pushed the right side bar back a little, and the plastic bumper cracked and fell away because it was so cold. Without the bar, I'm certain the damage would have been much worse. If the deer had been a fully grown doe or buck, the damage would have been significantly higher. So I wouldn't buy this thinking it'll protect your car from a deer collision; in "Van Time," I discuss this bar and the frontal crash zone. YouTube
It's not for Mazda, but rather for Ford.

It was simple to put together, but the instructions were a little unclear. You must cut the plastic engine deflector guard, but I did mine perfectly the first time; however, I dislike how one side is closer to the bumper than the other. What if your tolerances aren't the best? I was also pleased to see that it included light mounting tabs. The issue is that they're so close to the bumper that they're practically useless. There's no way you're going to be able to mount a light unit in that space. I'll need to make a mounting adapter that is offset.
I had no problems installing mine. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. The bar is sturdy, and I can stand on it to get a better look inside my Transit's engine compartment. I don't expect it to protect my van from a deer, but it should be able to handle minor bumps from careless drivers backing into it.
But . I'm the proud owner of a brand new 2020 Transit Passenger 150 AWD. For the front, there was Parking Assist. I have to turn off the Parking assist every time I turn on the vehicle and put it in drive because the sensors have hit the Guard. Nonetheless, it appears to be fantastic! This is a true Road Rage Machine.
For more information on why the rating is three stars, read the reviews. The instructions were adequate. It would have been nice to get another star if someone had done an exact measurement in the undercarriage shield cutout. Another star was taken away due to issues with the brackets' shaping. Some of them were a little off. This problem could have been solved by reducing the size by 1/8 inch. Otherwise, it's a good bumper. There's no doubt about it.
It's simple to put together and it looks great. Mine came with a couple of KC Apollo Pro Fog lights, which I used. However, they could use some more detailed installation instructions.
The quality is excellent. The only criticism I have is that the instructions aren't very clear.
The brush guard came well packaged (to the point where unwrapping it took some time) and was simple to install. I strongly advise having the proper equipment (e. g. , a computer). Because the factory bolts on the Transit are on pretty tight, you'll need an impact wrench and a good set of wrenches. It took a little trial and error to get the splash guard to fit around the brush guard's anchor points. and-mistake - Simply start small and work your way up, and you'll be fine. Overall, the brush guard was simple to install and appears to be sturdy enough for my needs (mounting lights and serving as a tie-down). down for kayaks), and they made it through a few off-the-beaten-path adventures. There was no rattling while on the road.
Bumper guard arrived quickly in December 2019, and was simple to install aside from cutting the notches in the Engine Splash Shield and two clips that attach it to the grill guard, so it's not TAC's fault that Ford made them difficult to access.
