I completely zipped it up, but the bag carrier didn't seem to be very waterproof, and I almost lost my new luggage. The first thing we had to do when we got there was wash everything! In addition to this, my medication which was in my pill box got wet because the box was inside a bag inside of my suitcase, and it became shopping wet and melted all my medications. In that case, I had to contact my doctor and ask for prescriptions to be sent to a Florida pharmacy! It goes without saying we were upset with the quality of this product! On the way home we wrapped every piece of luggage and item in plastic bags before we packed them into the luggage We soon threw the carrier away as soon as we got home since it was such an utter failure. Returning it was the last thing we did! I do not recommend buying this product!.

This item is really disappointing to me. My shredder was 50 miles away from the place where I traveled. Based on reviews, I was expecting great things from this bag.

As it turns out I had a bit of an issue understanding what worked without cargo bars. They explained that there are 2 different strap systems after talking to customer service. There is one for cargo bars and one for no cargo It is unfortunate that I purchased the model My CS department was incredibly helpful and is sending me a pair of straps with This bag is the same as the last one. The last time I bought was a year and a half This did not have to be done. By the time I found out about my error, it was too late As for the people complaining about shredding, I see no reason to worry. Despite being soft, the bag is durable. It's 49 dollars, and you pay it. Ensure you are clear on what you are buying. It's hard to go wrong with these bags. It is inevitable that they will wear down eventually, but anything that stays outside for long periods of time does as well.

Here is a brief summary. I drove 1500+ miles on my roof with this during extremely heavy snowfall. I did not have to worry about anything inside getting wet. Upon stopping, I made sure to check the straps. For the most part, it stayed tight even after I checked it several times. It wasn't long I had it, but I had it. is because of a slick patch of ice I caught 20 minutes from home, rolled my car off a bridge, and then promptly got out and walked. In this case, it was the rooftop carrier that was hit the hardest. * It should be noted that only the bottom of the carrier was damaged by the roll. Despite my misgivings, the zippers and top of the jacket were fine. I was able to achieve what I needed for a fraction of the cost. When we left for our first trip, of course, it rained, so we got to see for ourselves just how waterproof it really is. In spite of the product's claims to the contrary, the contents of the storage bag remained dry. The roof bag of our truck was put in the bed while we were on I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up and what a great seal it had. There was nothing to worry about when the weather changed and the rain began to fall. The roof of our car stayed dry even through four or five heavy downpours. your bed has a bed liner, you won't want to slide it to the back after loading because you will rub some of the plastic off. Attempts to be unbiased have been made. This was not provided at a discount or for free. A true and honest review was left after I paid the full price.

The box was on the roof of our car while we traveled across the country. As per the instructions, we did as instructed. After a short break at the top of a hill, we checked on it and realized it had ripped, probably from the wind's impact. The straps held it in place, but it did not help the fabric or keep it from falling apart. As luck would have it, we caught it before further damage occurred, and none of our belongings were damaged. On our drive, we had to recycle, dump, or mail items that couldn't fit in the car during the middle of it. It would not be recommended.
