Each Jeep Body Armor piece consists of finely textured black thermoplastic that has been UV treated for a rugged appearance. A double-sided auto-grade tape is used for attachment. Suitable for 04-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ Limited (LJ) but won't fit other models.

The TJ should fit in this size, right? Can you tell me how to get the longer version?

You are correct, TJ is getting this

Can you put the hard top back on over the soft top? I'm sure it's in there somewhere and it's a dumb question. Do you have to drill holes all the time?

In order to attach the screws and retainers, you would need to cut holes in it

Would this be the "longer one" that goes to the door jamb?

Wrangler TJ owners will find this to be the standard model. just short of the door jamb. If it went all the way to the jamb it would be ripped off by anything that got caught on it, like your shirt, a purse, so it will not go all the way.

I like the look of the 97 TJ and it works well. It is an excellent product in its own right. Does exactly what it's supposed to on my 97 TJ and looks great. These rails are thin gauge plastic, I'm estimating they are just over 1/16 inch thick. I have issues with their value for the price I paid. These covers cover my tub rails brilliantly (despite the fact that I have Bestop duster cover brackets and surrounds for my doors). It's likely that you will think these rails are too short if you don't have either of these items. They look great and serve exactly the purpose they need to, but I think a fair retail price would be I have to admit, though, I'm a picky Jeep guy, and logic goes out the window when it comes to taking care of a child. Despite the fact that I am happy with the appearance, I am sad that I spent so much money on an item that seems so overpriced. You can find a couple of pictures attached Before installing the tub rails, I marked the hardtop holes and drilled them.

This is a very nice product and is easy to install with a good fit. It's a real shame that they're made of such cheap plastic and over $70 seems a bit excessive for something that really is dormant. If you drill holes in it, you can use a hardtop, but I'm not convinced that's what it was originally designed for. In the case of an annual set, I would be inclined to buy it.

Mark out the . I would highly recommend it. This application accomplishes exactly what it is supposed to do, and it also looks great. If you are going to install a hardtop, it is highly recommended that you mark out the holes and prepare them. Using the hole drill before installing these is a good idea, as it is difficult to drill the holes after these are installed (something that should be obvious). The final product is solid.

This is an easy to install program. As I live in a rural area and drive gravel to asphalt, I was concerned that they may not stay connected, but they have! I love.

The price is too high for the quality of the Although they can serve the purpose of an explorer with a bare minimum, they are cheap as crap! They are way too expensive for the purpose they serve

A well made product of good quality. I was very pleased with the installation process. This item was just what I wanted. The top rail of a Jeep gets a final polish. If you have flaws, this is also great. I highly recommend this product, and it was a great price too!.
