The hardtop is indistinguishable from a soft
But it won't cover the whole tub since it will be visible where the soft top attaches on the front. As part of my frameless soft top installation, I drilled holes. The product is great and I would be happy to buy it again if it had more features
This will be the case. It will give adequate slack to cover the marginal area when using these tub covers because the slack given by the seatbelt housing works like that.

All in all, I am a big fan of The "cleaner" look they create is definitely a plus. There were only two things that would have kept me from giving them a 5 star review Although they are probably a bit overpriced for two thin strips of plastic, the fit does not seem to be perfect, as others have mentioned. About one-half inch of the front is too short, and about one-quarter inch of the rear is too short. In the back I don't think it makes a huge difference, but in the front the 1/2" wide band of red (my Jeep is red) does stand out. My eyes are probably more sensitive to detail than other people's. However, it still remains.
This looks good, but it is not a perfect fit on one side the other side is fine.
The fit is perfect and the look is fantastic. For a hard top, there are no more bolt holes to be seen. It was a good.
There were already holes exposed in the tub on the front.
