Questions & Answers

Is it as effective as fluid film at penetrating crevices?

Woolwax does not dry because it stays wet. It is constantly active and migrating into areas that are inaccessible to humans. Woolwax, like any other product, will get into all the sheet metal folds and tight spots. Woolwax will protect you for a longer period of time, and you will be very pleased with its performance.

When it comes to drying time, how long does it take?

Woolwax® is a non-drying wax. Woolwax® creates a wet gel-like finish when applied. Moisture and oxygen are unable to pass through such a barrier. No oxidation can occur without the presence of moisture and oxygen. Woolwax® is a non-toxic wax that can be used for a variety of purposes. It is constantly active and migrating into inaccessible areas of the doors, seams and folds of the sheet metal, and all other hard-to-reach places. Woolwax® is a thick wax that is difficult to remove. An annual application will easily protect your vehicle during the winter months when it is covered in snow, ice, and salt. Woolwax® will provide indefinite (years) protection in enclosed areas (doors, frame rails, rockers, and so on). Woolwax® should only be applied to the exposed areas of the undercarriage once a year.

How long do you think it will be before you have to reapply truck undercoat?

Woolwax® is a one-time application that must be done every year. Even the harshest winter conditions will be easily protected with a Woolwax® treatment. Woolwax® has a high wash resistance. off. Woolwax® does not contain any solvents, so there is no evaporation. A single treatment will provide protection for an indefinite period of time (years) in protected enclosed areas (doors, frame rails, and so on). The undercarriage's exposed area needs to be re-covered. treated on a yearly basis The existing Woolwax® does not need to be removed or power washed. Simply give it a good rinsing with the garden hose to clean it up a bit, then apply a fresh coat directly over the old Woolwax®. Many of our Undercoaters recommend treating vehicles in the summer so that the Woolwax® can creep and migrate into all of the hard-to-reach places.

In hotter climates, such as south Florida, how effective is woolwax?

I live in SW Pennsylvania, so I'm not sure if my response will be of much use to you, but it has withstood the summer heat (80-100 degrees Fahrenheit). 90°F) is a good temperature for us. It has a slight peanut butter consistency and adheres well to the skin once applied.

The short version of this product is as follows: This is an excellent product; if you get it in black, it looks fantastic on your chassis! It's simple to apply with home-grade compressors, and it's simple to clean up if you overspray it
5/5

I sprayed a variety of trucks and cars, averaging 3 quarts per truck and 2 quarts per car. br>br>At this point, I've tried everything else on the market that I'm aware of, and while there are some good products out there, this is, in my opinion, the best. ten out of ten. br>br> br>br>The photos I uploaded don't do it justice; I'm always impressed when I look under a chassis.

Exactly what I was looking for
5/5

1 YEAR SINCE THE LAST UPDATE This is fantastic, and I wholeheartedly endorse it! It stopped my truck from rusting, stayed put, and turned a dull black color - it appears to be excellent I was so taken with it that I installed it on my 1990 Ford F150. The only disadvantage is that if you try to get under the car, you will get this on yourself. ORIGINAL - This is the first time I've heard of it. My F250 SD is rusted out. Either I let it go to waste or I did something to save it. It's been about 8 weeks since I bought and used this product. It was simple to put it into practice - adhere to the instructions. It should be kept warm and agitated. Near the 1 gallon can, I used a small space heater. It was cold when I applied it in December - 45 degrees Fahrenheit - It poured like maple syrup once it was warmed up and agitated. The weapon was extremely effective. It wasn't the end of the world when one of the application hoses broke, but it wasn't the end of the world either. Colors in black look fantastic.

Undercoating system made of woolwax
5/5

Okay, now that I've used Woolwax, I'll give it a review: It appears to coat everything well; it's quite wet, but it doesn't drip off during normal use, and it washes off you and your clothes fairly easily with just soap and water, which I appreciate. You'll need much more than what they say on the tube, so order twice as much as you think you'll need. On my 2000 Ford F150, I used 2 1/2 gallons of gas. You'll use extra coating to make sure because there are so many places under one of those that have double layers that you'll have to use the wand to reach in and (hopefully) coat. Overall, I'm hoping it stays put and prevents rusting on my truck.

Air is sprayed from the nozzle, but no undercoating is applied
3/5

I recently purchased these items, and when I first tried them out, the spray gun was only spraying air, not any product. I followed the directions and unscrewed the brass nozzle, but the undercoating is still not coming out. The gun isn't clogged, and the pressure is between 85 and 90 pounds per square inch. 90 PSI. The spray gun isn't sucking up and spraying out the product from beneath. It works with water without the nozzle, but when the nozzle is attached, all that comes out is air. I attempted to call the help line listed on the instructions, but received no response. Overall, the product appears to be of good quality, but the nozzle and attachments appear to be defective, and the customer service line was unresponsive. The undercoat itself appears to be excellent! I'd just like to see support be able to assist with these issues or replace the nozzle if it's broken.

It's simple to put together and looks fantastic
5/5

This is the first time I've done so. It's a bit of a task, but in the end, it's very simple to implement. With a fresh coat of black wool wax on the underside, it looks fantastic. If there was a lift involved, it would be much easier.

I'm not sure if it'll wash
3/5

I sprayed this film with confidence after reading the reviews, following the directions, and watching videos. I drove 30 miles on slick roads seven days later. When I parked, I noticed that the film had washed away from the rear wheel wells, as well as some of the frame film. It appears to be a good product, but I'm not sure how long it takes to dry; apparently 7 days is insufficient!.
