This item appeals to me. It is a necessity for me. My BMW produces a lot of brake dust, especially on the front wheels. I spray this on the front tires and then drive to the nearest gas station to fill up. Spray a little more and then run through the touchless carwash if necessary - Every time, everything is spotless!! I would strongly suggest it. There's no fuss, no messes, and no need to wash your hands.
After trying Meguiars and Trinova, I was debating whether to try Adam's or Sonax. After seeing a YouTube video of a direct comparison, I decided to go with Sonax. If you need a spray-on, hose-off wheel cleaner, this is a great option. Both Meguiars and Trinova required agitation in order to function. Sonax only required a hose and did not require the use of a pressure washer. It has a similar scent to Meguiars, but it isn't quite as strong. I get the impression that Sonax is attempting to mask the odor with a different scent, which is still superior to Meguiars. One bottle, in my experience, cleans one set of wheels, including the inner barrell.
This is the product for you if you want to clean your wheels quickly and without scrubbing. I haven't used anything else since I first started using this product. It never lets you down! This is the quickest way to make you feel like you've just purchased a new car; the wheels appear to be brand new!.
I began using Sonax on my rims shortly after that. I'm still using Sonax after 15 years. My rims have never needed to be rubbed or brushed. And the rims still look brand new after 180 applications (15 years). Sonax, on the other hand, is an expensive drug. On 19-inch rims, one bottle is enough to clean all of them 2- 3 times. The extra cost, however, is worth it to me in order to avoid hand scubbing.
After watching some videos about this product, I decided to try it out on the inner area of some used rims I bought. It didn't get rid of much brake dust that was stuck in the rim. I ended up making my own solution, which turned out to be a complete disaster. Expensive and of no use.
My Mercedes-Benz S550 has 20-inch rims and was purchased in 2015. This stuff washed all four rims with just one bottle. and absolutely nothing else! I liked how the green turned black and then red. It took a lot of scrubbing to get everything off, but it was well worth it. It took a long time to completely rinse away all of the black, but it was easy to see if I had succeeded. I'd buy it again, but I'm wondering if there's something similar that's less expensive.
I wish this was a foaming or gel product so it didn't dry so quickly - Aside from that, it did a good job of cleaning up a used set of winter rims for my Porsche.
If you're looking for a good cleaner, Sonax is the way to go. I've tried other brands and this one is by far the best.
