As a result of its raised texture, I wouldn't recommend it for construction. You would have a tough time cleaning it. Our experience with Al's liner is that it is a good alternative to rubber crumb in truck beds, but would be more prone to chipping off. I used this black crumb with gray liner, and it made no difference to With a roller, you will have a very difficult time getting an even distribution. There is a lot of grip due to the coarseness of the crumb. It is used for coating swim rafts and is made of silica.
When used with paint, it is bad. Striking black marks appear on the skin during acne breakouts.
