A matte finish dash was intended to be used with this product, but it did not leave a matte finish on the surface (reason for purchasing). The product failed to remove the product from the dash without adding a uniform shine, which was unfortunate since it took several wipes with a dampened cloth before any effects of the product could be removed. I believe that tires are not meant to be shiny and that you should not use this product on them. Black is what they were meant to be. It is black as a sheet. Using this product, the tires will be thoroughly cleaned, leaving behind a dull, barely-visible finish An important hint The sidewalls are finished in a satin finish. That was the best thing I've ever done! A good has been on my wish list for some time. A great job is done by this application. The Armor All alternative you provide is excellent, and I have been searching for one. A one-star deduction was because of the scent, which I found almost overwhelming. A brand new car is currently in my possession, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the new car smell for as long as possible. There is no way to see that here. It can be used inside and outside the car, to clean various surfaces. It's not overly glossy, it's just clean and smooth.
