In the same manner, some things seemed to have been damaged without being described. For example, there was a tiny metal piece of equipment that may have been used as a stand, but I'm not sure of its use, and a wire brush that was also injured. In addition, you'll get two triangular plastic trays for rhinestones on which I assume you'll put them, but you'll have to take them out and place them on a non heat-resistant surface before using it Because they were melted slightly when I tried to take them out of the plastic trays, I had to use a little bit of care. The instructions said to find a metal tip that would pick up your size rhinestones and that's how you pick it up and heat it, but the metal tip I found that a good fit over my rhinestones didn't pick them up. The easiest thing for me was to place the rhinestones on my fabric where I wanted them to be and use the metal tip just to cover the rhinestone while it was already in place, then heat it until it adhered. My initial experience with the collar was pretty easy. I completed it in less than 5 minutes based on pictures in this review. I don't know how to get more rhinestones once you have used them all, but it comes with a bunch of different colored and sized stones. My overall impression is that it is a neat little typeset with some great features, but I wish the instructions were more clear. In checking out the Amazon website, I see that the site has more pictures and labels than I saw in the actual kit. You can actually stand the hot tool on the metal ring so that it does not have to be sat on. I noticed that the instructions on the Amazon site indicate that you should use a pencil to hold the rhinestones and then place them where you want them. Examining the Amazon site, I see that there are more pictures and descriptions of the pieces than in the actual kit. There wasn't a lot of adhesion. I had to hunt down fabric glue to fix the diamonds that were falling off but it's a simple process.

It took me a few tries before I was able to wash embellished clothing in the washing machine, but so far everything has worked out! So far, I have not lost a stone after using this product on woven cotton fabric. I have washed the items about four times in the washer, plus a few times by hand. The water I use is cold though, so I'm not sure if that matters.
