The rhinestone-encrusted hotfix applicator was a gift for my seven year old In the year This is for my daughter because I thought it would make a cool artsy type of project I tried it myself before giving it to her, as well as when I gave it to her. So, I would say it's something we would have to work on Though there are only a few instructions and the instructions are very brief, the instructions came on an odd packaging material inside a bag that we couldn't identify. In the description, there isn't much information about what exactly is in the bag so I'm not quite sure what the pencils are for however, I assume they're what you use to mark where your rhinestones should go on your clothing. In the same manner, some things seemed to have been damaged without being described. For example, there was a tiny metal piece of equipment that may have been used as a stand, but I'm not sure of its use, and a wire brush that was also injured. In addition, you'll get two triangular plastic trays for rhinestones on which I assume you'll put them, but you'll have to take them out and place them on a non heat-resistant surface before using it Because they were melted slightly when I tried to take them out of the plastic trays, I had to use a little bit of care. The instructions said to find a metal tip that would pick up your size rhinestones and that's how you pick it up and heat it, but the metal tip I found that a good fit over my rhinestones didn't pick them up. The easiest thing for me was to place the rhinestones on my fabric where I wanted them to be and use the metal tip just to cover the rhinestone while it was already in place, then heat it until it adhered. My initial experience with the collar was pretty easy. I completed it in less than 5 minutes based on pictures in this review. I don't know how to get more rhinestones once you have used them all, but it comes with a bunch of different colored and sized stones. My overall impression is that it is a neat little typeset with some great features, but I wish the instructions were more clear. In checking out the Amazon website, I see that the site has more pictures and labels than I saw in the actual kit. You can actually stand the hot tool on the metal ring so that it does not have to be sat on. I noticed that the instructions on the Amazon site indicate that you should use a pencil to hold the rhinestones and then place them where you want them. Examining the Amazon site, I see that there are more pictures and descriptions of the pieces than in the actual kit. You can actually stand the hot tool on the metal ring so that it does not have to be sat on. According to the instructions on the site, you should use a pencil to pick up the rhinestones and place them in the desired position, then use an applicator to apply them at a 90 degree angle until they adhere to clothing, which is pretty much what I did already. According to the article, the trays are used for sorting and moving the rhinestones, which should not pose a problem if you're using a pencil to pick them up from This steel brush is used to clean the tip of the applicator, which I wasn't sure about because I didn't find anything on the tip of mine. It helped to have the tweezers on hand and I actually do use them more often than I do my pencil to position my rhinestones. There is no end to the possibilities with this kit, and it is definitely to be used under the supervision of.
You can't afford to waste It is a poor quality set of jewels. It's not a pen that they stay in. My cheer squad's hair bows were to be adorned with jewels, but the jewelry I bought broke after two applications. There is already a bag in my trash.
According to the description, the product is reliable. When I opened the package, I found that the rhinestone packets were open, therefore they spilled all over the place. Although I was generally satisfied with the purchase, I am sure I lost stones because of.
There wasn't a lot of adhesion. I had to hunt down fabric glue to fix the diamonds that were falling off but it's a simple process.
With all the tools available, I expect this to be very easy to work with. I haven't used it yet, but I don't anticipate any problems, I just need to get busy right away.
It took me a few tries before I was able to wash embellished clothing in the washing machine, but so far everything has worked out! So far, I have not lost a stone after using this product on woven cotton fabric. I have washed the items about four times in the washer, plus a few times by hand. The water I use is cold though, so I'm not sure if that matters.
This heating wand is very easy to work with. It will heat up in 2 minutes. The wand should be used to press the rhinestone into the fabric for 15 seconds The fabric needs to be adhered for 18 seconds. I like these rhinestones very much, and they come in a variety of The tips can be changed, which I like. I was thoroughly impressed by the price, quality, and ease of use of this product.
It will be enough for many projects, which is what I bought it.
