There are too many spool spindles for the spool to fit on it when I use regular spool threads. There is a cap on top of the spindle and it has a diameter of 5/8".
I'm here. At the back, there is a bar that supports the frame. There is good support for it. Despite the fact that mine is full, it is sturdy and well made. In addition to being mounted on the wall, the stand can also be mounted on the floor. My thread collection continues to grow, so hopefully I will be able to purchase more stands.
Due to the fact that it is a stand alone thread stand, it can be used with ANY sewing/ embroidering machine.
There is an opening at the bottom. The one I had was too light, so I stopped using it. My stitches shifted around a lot and were very loose as a result. In order to keep my spools straight, I purchased a heavy duty
Selected User Reviews For Light Weight Thread Stand - 3 Spools Holder for Domestic (Home-Base) Embroidery and Sewing Machines - Three Colors for Choices - Pink
It was fairly easy to assemble, and it cost less than it should. Some reviewers said it was too light, fragile, and difficult Nevertheless, I liked that the stand was perfect and that the color was not as bright as it looks in extremely easy to assemble, and I did not even need to refer to the instructions written on the box I purchased it As far as I know, everything goes together well and it is designed to hold thick spools which is what I wanted. Because I am making batch masks with the serger, I needed a thread stand to hold the thread as the serger cannot hold very large spools. My overall opinion is that the stand is a good buy. I did not have any difficulty with it falling over while I used it, so some may have concerns about its weight. In addition to its self-standing ability, it is further stabilized by the weight of the spools attached to it. The purchase I made has been a great success for me. recommend if you have a Singer Tiny Serger or similar machine.
The stand I needed could hold multiple thread spools. This one was selected after reading reviews, and it does have a few "workable" issues.
It's VERY light weight in comparison with another multi-thread spool stand, and it moves when it The table also has a tendency to slide and tip The solution I came up with was to tape a few washers on the bottom to make it more stable and give it more weight. Metal spool pins are wide, and their diameters range from 1 to 3 inches- In particular, their plastic caps are a pain to remove. Rather than spools of thread, only a cone of thread will be necessary. An extension cord and kebab skewer worked but they only caused the thread to get caught in the opening. In addition, I tried placing the spool cap of my sewing machine under the stick and skewer, but it didn't Still haven't figured out how to MacGyver a solution.
A nice stand that is easy to put together, and it is nice to have three spools of the common colors at my fingertips. Cones or spools is held in this device, and the bobbin storage is not a disappointment. It would be great if we had a couple of each bobbin pre-made A spindle is spun to match the color of the spindles, and you're good to To do mine, I used a small piece of non-woven fabric I used a skid shelf liner from the dollar store, which worked wonders for keeping If you use just a little non-toxic polymer as a base, it won't need to be a heavy one It would be nice if there were some small rubber feet or a skid liner. It may be nice to have heavier ones, but they aren't.
I have updated I was contacted by the seller who asked for a refund after reading two or three bad reviews. Did not believe it was After they had asked if I could send them thread for their trouble, they agreed to do so. They were insistent so I said yes, even though it wasn't necessary. In response to my agreement, they requested that I amend the first Although they never sent the thread, they asked me why I had not changed the rating later. It was never distributed to anyone else after I informed them that I thought I should receive the thread before anyone No clue what the thread was about. Perhaps it would have been different if the thread had been sent to me immediately instead of waiting for me to modify the review. Although I initially thought that the price was reasonable for a cheaply made product, since then I have purchased a heavier cast iron thread holder which is significantly less expensive, so much for the idea that I am saving Purchasing a better review seems to have been all the seller cared about. It is not enough to rely on reviews here if that is all it takes. My goal is to purchase from Amazon with confidence that what I'm purchasing is of high quality. Despite its low cost, I have noticed that it walks a lot when I use the embroidery unit. It holds the cones very securely, but is very light. I find it very difficult to use the embroidery unit while it walks. Since I was unsure of how effective it would be, I did not want to spend a lot of money on something I may not find useful at all. The quality level is just above fair, which makes it useful even at a slightly lower level. As a result, I use the cones more frequently because they offer a greater return on investment and they can hold thread very well without becoming tangled. Upon assembly, it was very simple and came in a very small package. Having bought it, I do not regret it, but when the time comes to replace it I will look for something heavier and better quality.
As I am using larger embroidery spools of thread which are unable to fit on my embroidery machines, I purchased this stand for my use. I'm very pleased My only issue with it being four stars is I would have preferred if the feet were rubber so it would not slide around and scratch But other than that, I like it a lot!.
It's been a life-saver for me to get this to hold my larger spools of thread that my sewing machine couldn't handle efficiently. My sewing has become so much easier with this holder, as I no longer have to worry about the buttons slipping off so far as I sew. There needs to be more space between the rods that hold the threads. Though it isn't as sturdy as I would like it to be, it is still serviceable.
I have purchased it two times now. I use it for giant spools on my embroidery machine and it is very nice and functional. A spool holder that holds three spools also makes it easier to change colors. As advertised, it's a light weight product, and I find it to work well.
It is a nice stand, and it works best behind my embroidery machine. I haven't had any problems with it since I set it up. This would be a purchase I would make.
