The revision is Buying this thing is a waste of money. While spinning with the thing, it fell apart in a matter of seconds.

It has been broken and bent, but its still functional

After ordering this spindle, the bottom 2 inches of the spindle broke off upon arrival. When I got a replacement, I noticed that the hook on top was twisted to one side or the other. Instead of getting a replacement, I had my husband bend the hook I found that the spindle worked reasonably well once it was fixed.

The item was damaged when it was A piece of the main structure was not attached It seems the glue failed, also there are some burrs on it

The only reason I didn't rate it higher is that I was able to glue the pieces together myself, but I would skip it and buy another product instead.

There was no rear end attached to the whorl

I had to glue the whorl on myself because it was detached when I got it in. It's a fine spindle aside from that, but I'm just a little miffed that I had to glue the product together in order.

There is a need for better glue

Like other reviews suggest, it was broken when it arrived. This was easily repaired with a little tacky glue and it worked perfectly once it dried, but I had hoped for a ready-to-use system The product is ready to use right out of the bag.
