Thanks for reading this paper cutter review. I hope it is helpful to someone looking for one. Having read the awful reviews about the other options out there, I had almost given up hope of finding one. The blade must cut thick watercolor paper (could be found easy to find) and I thought it would be easy to find. Not at all! With a ruler that has inches marked clearly, a machine that cuts straight and even, and it has a magnetic paper guide. There is no doubt it is constructed with quality. The application has been so helpful, I cut thirty sheets of watercolor paper in half yesterday in a matter of seconds. I did it one by one because I am confident that that is the best way to keep the paper Performing a happy dance over a paper cutter was a pleasure, and my husband was convinced I was crazy.
The only drawback is sometimes the width of the cutting is a little off and it will only cut half of the sheet straight if I have a lot of sheets to cut. The best way to get accurate results is to cut one sheet at a time very slowly. If you are cutting multiple sheets, it can be a bit inconvenient.
The paper cutter is a good one, but it is not suitable for carpenters. For cuts under 2 inches there is a higher degree of difficulty. It is possible that my cuts weren't all equal, but it could have been my fault. In addition, the design of the arm includes a piece of metal on the back that scratched paint on the walls.
This product seems to be becoming more expensive and there is a decline in the quality. It cuts white matte sticker paper fine, In my opinion, it is not worthwhile spending $30 on it. Here's what I think. A knife is not shown on this cutting block, which looks more like a square cutting surface. It has just been returned to me. A bend appeared in the handle.
There is no straight cut with this product. There was a bend in the blade.
Children like to do origami, and I usually just cut paper about the size of an origami paper square using scissors. The process is made much easier and faster with this. If I bought origami paper, I might have also bought it, but why buy when you can reuse? (I also like how portable it is, since it's small and easy to store.
The product was a little bit of use at I do not believe it is There is a 1/16" difference in the gridlines from what the actual cuts look like, and the gridlines are not parallel. All of my cuts seem slanted to me. It does not seem to be a good idea.
Everything is off by a little bit, which I can adjust for. For it to cut straight, I had to manually move the top panel that had the logo on it. As it turns out, I did not get the one The only reason I want to keep it is because I was able to repair it, and I can use it. This is not for everyone. If you can't deal with that sort of thing, don't buy it.
