I think so. My measurement is 14 3/4 inches and I think it is closer to that. Rather than describe the product as a "12 inch cutting mat," it would be more accurate to say that it is a 14 inch cutting mat. Suitable for a 12 inch trimmer, the mat is 75 inches in size. 14 is the number on your mat. If you want this mat to fit, you should look at the area where your mat goes, and see if you have about a quarter inch more.
An older Fiskars model with a black bar has the model # on it, but I have no idea what it RM - The Carl R Cutting mats for 12" work, but the Fellowes Safecut Rotary Trimmer 12-inch does not fit and do not work In addition, these 5411502 inch replacement cutting mats stay in place better without being glued in. Both work well and are available on Amazon. They are a little thicker than the original mats, but they work well nonetheless.
It is too short. Carl sells a 2-inch version on his website This pack of 15 inch mats is for your convenience. If you want to use your trimmer with them, you would have to cut a quarter inch off of each end. If a trimmer does not have replacement parts, it makes no sense to sell it.
A thinner cutting strip is available on this site than the black bar from Fiskars. In addition to this CARL cutting mat, I also own a Fiskars cutting mat with a bar that is square in shape (at the end). Fiskars does not produce the same model of strip as the one we are trying to use.

The 20+ years that I have owned my Carl's rotary cutter have led me to purchase four of these replacement mats. Making paper cut to the correct size is part of many crafts I do. My cutter is essential in this process! The mat makes the cutting process much easier when I am cutting my Christmas cards to the correct size. I was preparing to start my Christmas cards and needed to cut card stock to the right size.
I put the blade from one end to the other and ran it. After putting it away, I put it back in the cabinet. Now that I have used it on a project, I found it was not a good base for the blade, and it could not cut a straight line. I can see it is made of different material than the original. does not seat right in the machine, not being able to move in a straight line and not working properly. Is this simply some generic part that was made to fit in the machine but fails to work? I would like a 'mat' that works properly, or at least tell me this is all you have to offer me. We need to know your Precision is always evident in the cutting of the machine.
I use it both to cut cardstock and 20 mil magnet sheets, and it works perfectly and, more importantly, cuts clearly right where you place it. I can replace the replaceable mats easily, and it lasts me on average a couple hundred sheets before the blade pressure cuts too deep of a groove in the mat, causing the blade to There's another "high-tech" item on my list The "end" cutter that I never use has the advantage of allowing you to cut more sheets at once, but you cannot accurately know where the cut will end up, and it wiggles, despite its metal construction. If accuracy is a priority for you, don't spend a lot instead, get the Carl cutter that this part works with. Since I bought mine 7 years ago, I've used it extensively.
It seems my poor cutter was having some problems. Because I had used the original cutting mat all 4 sides without replacing it, it was having problems. In order to get a really good cut, I had to only use the bottom half. Therefore, it was time for a replacement to be ordered. There is a Carl DC-100 in my possession Cutters with a 100N rating of 12". It took a couple of attempts before the replacement was able to cut through in one swipe (first with card stock, then chipboard) but once I got used to it, after a few cuts it took no time to cut card stock, chipboard, and a single sheet of paper. I am happy to be able to use my cutter.
An old paper cutter I found in my classroom that could not be used was saved this way. In the end, the problem was merely that it was With this one, it fits perfectly and now works just like new. Purchase a used paper cutter instead of a new one--much less expensive and wasteful!.
My poor cutting performance was accidentally caused by the cutting mat. The mat and blade were both replaced, and now my poor cutting performance is no longer occurring. You can use all four sides of them, so they last a long time. It is a necessity for the best.
My cutting board came at just the right time. We had a good experience with shipping. It is only because the strip was bent when I got it that I didn't give it a 5. shipped in a large padded envelope that was not lined with anything to keep it flat during shipping, so it bent during delivery. There was no time for me to seek a replacement, so I tried to straighten it out as best as I could. I cut around it a few times to make sure it cuts through the curve in the middle. It's almost flat, but has a slight curve in the middle, so I have to ensure that It might have been help to place a piece of heavy cardboard inside the envelope in order to.
The mat works great for the Cricut Maker. It is a bit too sticky and leaves a little residue on the.
