It is amazing and more than a decade ahead of its time! The package arrived today, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a much more interesting item than a It is possible to make these products invisible thanks to the technology developed by these people! Obviously I have no idea how well the actual product works since it's still invisibly hidden within the packaging (still searching), however I congratulate these guys for the innovative and advanced technology they have created! You just wait until the NASA guys discover this, and then they'll have a gold mine

(mailed me an empty package, the thing is empty. ).

The measurements were not taken twice and the order was placed My aquarium lid was a glass aquarium and I knew the dimensions I needed online
5/5

(slap face here) I was off by 14 points. I knew I'd need a glass cutter because returning it was not an option. My memory said I had used this brand decades ago on a construction project I worked on, so I ordered one. It was received within a very short time. The hinge didn't allow me to lay the glass flat on the work table so at the very least I knew taking a 14" off the edge of the two piece lid would be challenging. In watching a few YouTube videos about the subject, I found two that described how to trim the small piece off the glass without it running into the big one. the same as securing a larger piece with a simple score and snap. According to the instructions on YouTube, after making the score, I used the little ball on the end to gently press on both sides of the bottom of the score line, then carefully turn the score line into a running crack that can be snapped off with a pair of I used a piece of coarse emery cloth and the Dremel's sanding drum to smooth out the edge, but it wasn't perfectly smooth.

There is poor craftsmanship on display here
3/5

Glass is tricky to score. Yes, it takes practice. In your scoring, the cheap little wheel jiggles and wobbles to the left and to the right. Because of how loose the wheel is, it is impossible to get perfectly straight scores, even with a straight edge guide. It would be more valuable to spend a bit more money on one that is manufactured properly if precision is necessary.

Good glass cutters are able to achieve bad results, but my bad cuts are the result of my mistakes
5/5

I hope everyone who gave this cutter a bad review will reconsider. If you're not practicing enough or using the tool incorrectly, you are using it wrong. Artful cutting of glass requires physics as well as an eye for detail. I really like this tool - doing what it says it will do Score the surface of the glass so that secondary shock will cause the glass to crack along the score line. It is a good idea to never score the same place twice, and ensure that the score marks are not sharp. My friend and I cut wine bottles and turned them into flower vases using this tool.

The trash should contain this item
3/5

It took me more time and effort than I thought was necessary, which would have led to a ruined mirror

I made the chip even bigger and bigger, after which I broken the glass in circular chunks
This item is terrible. Rather than all the mirror chips and aggravation, I might as well have gone to a glass shop and spent $20 to have it already cut. The company is asking that I mention them

Easy to use Amazon is seemingly leaving it up to me to "pick up the pieces. " I give it a "thumbs down" for value The cost of the new unit is nearly three times this amount*Sturdiness As far as I can tell, it scored highly in this area.

Does your cutter have a fault? Despite the pin holding the wheel being seated properly, it stuck out one side, which caused it to ride on the top of the ruler and not make contact with Our only option was to file it down since it would not tap in to place
3/5

No matter how much mineral oil I used on the cutter and how thoroughly I washed the glass, it still failed to cut well. There were two pieces of glass that were broken. I previously used a Red Devil that worked like a charm, until it failed.

The best glass cutter I have ever seen
5/5

For example, you can use it to cut slivers of glass to make inset windows and Due to a small number of orders, I opted to upgrade to the heavy duty one. Cuts need to be made quite a few times. This cutter is really easy to use. I marked the glass and ran the blade down the straight edge. The cutting area is about an eighth of an inch larger than where I put the straight edge the first time around. With the pad, you can snap down the glass-broken score towards the inset. It may not be perfectly straight, but it's straight enough that you won't even notice it.

It cost me like $5 to purchase a four pack of 12"x12" inch mirrors at IKEA
5/5

Would like to hire a contractor to do a 10x12 surface area. OK, so I wanted to add this to my 3D printer. My goal was to make a larger bed, so I used a Mirror. It cost me like $5 to purchase a four pack of 12"x12" inch mirrors at IKEA. Trying to get a 10x12 surface area of the mirror, so I trimmed off about 2 inches from one side. The first attempt had not worked but I found that the second time was much better! In retrospect, the first cut was much better than my second cut, which was almost professional quality, and I have to say that is pretty impressive.
