This does not appear to be useful for transferring patterns to fabric in my opinion. It's essentially carbon paper, similar to what you'd use to make a carbon copy on an old typewriter. It's what I use to paint by transferring a tracing from a photograph to a canvas or panel. I suppose you could make it work if the fabric was light enough, but I've never heard of anyone doing it.

Hello there, Johanna S. ,br>br>We don't believe our graphite papers will be suitable for use as tattoo stencils. Yes, our papers will be useful if you plan on tracing the image on paper. Instead, you might need to look for carbon (ink-based) paper. Because graphite papers are similar to pencil graphite, they are less likely to catch on skin. br>br>I hope this information is useful. br>Kate N. is a freelance writer who lives in New York City. The package stated 18"x24," but it appeared to be more like an 8x11 sheet of paper at first glance. I used my tape measure and it isn't even close to the 18x24" that I purchased. Check out the photos to see how the tape measure compares to the package's printed dimensions.
What the hell is going on? Saral is my go-to graphite transfer paper, and I've been using it for a long time. I decided to try this paper on the spur of the moment because I needed a large sheet, 18 x 24 inches. What a pleasant surprise: not only did I successfully transfer my sketch to watercolor paper, but I also made no mess. There was no graphite on my hands or my work surface, and no smudges on my Arches paper. The tracing is all there is to it. This is perfect! I can't tell you how much I adore it. I'll be purchasing more in the future.
I'm not sure what other people received, but the items I got ruined my canvas and watercolor paper. There was a dark line of graphite on the graphite sheet that couldn't be removed (it wasn't one that I had traced). I was able to paint over it with acrylic on the canvas, but it was impossible to remove from the watercolor paper. Also, after I do the transfer, I sometimes want to change the design, and this stuff CANNOT be erased with ANYTHING I tried (including all kinds of good erasers) - Even a Magic Eraser won't be able to remove it. This is the last time I'll use it. I'd ask for a refund if I hadn't already opened and used a portion of it.
This is how I usually go about it: full-color sketchbook mock-up in size Finally, if you have a full-size board, you can move on to the next step. mock-up in size I'm used to covering the BACK of the mockup with scribbled-on paper, which is the size I use for book covers (it's 10 x 14"). tracing the drawing with a pencil on the final board The graphite paper saves me the time and effort of scribbling (which is also messy). Everything is more organized and simpler - as well as more quickly The paper was of excellent quality and matched the listing's description and appearance. I'm sure I'll use it again in the future.
I need to make several copies of my original patterns as a stained glass artist, and I haven't found anything else of comparable quality at such a low price.
If I hadn't had this product, I would have had to tape together several graphite sheets because the weight of the paper made wrapping around the barrel so simple.
they . I was in desperate need of something like this. They're too big for me to put my sketch on a big canvas. I deducted a star because I couldn't use it more than once without the transfer appearing to be very light.
This is fine, and I expect this pack to last me a long time because you can reuse the same piece multiple times.
