To be honest, I had no idea what I was getting for the money I was paying, as leather, especially scraps, can be hit or miss. The tooling side had a nice texture, whereas the other side was soft to very soft. The very soft sides left bits of leather where they weren't dyed, but after it was dyed (which it did so beautifully, I might add), it stiffened up and didn't have any excess leather getting places, while still maintaining a semblance of softness (I used oil dyes, by the way). It was extremely well carved and stamped. br>br> The rich burnish the stamps gave the leather was something I really enjoyed seeing. A part of me wished I could have just made a plain piece with that lovely aesthetic without the dye. It was also easy to punch holes in it (it's the perfect thickness for wallets, in my opinion). I was so taken with it that I decided to make myself a new leather wallet! I think this leather would be perfect for small leather projects like stamped keychains, bookmarks, and even journals. I was even more impressed with the smooth texture after I finished with the wallets. br>br>To get a sense of scale, consider the following: I was able to make one large and two medium-sized men's wallets, as well as three 7x1 wallets. I had extra 5 inch strips, which I used to hang a cosplay foam-covered fiberglass spear on my wall. Will definitely be purchasing more! br>br>.

This leather's reviews didn't disappoint me. "Oh, wow," came out of my mouth as soon as I opened the box. I was surprised by how light the leather was. Colorful and lovely. I have three large scraps that are free of defects and discoloration. There's plenty to make a few smallish projects with. I'm completely ecstatic. The leather has a nice feel to it, a pleasant odor, and is soft enough to make what I was envisioning. I was concerned about the thickness at first, but upon closer inspection, I discovered it to be soft and pliable. For the money, it's a great deal. The packaging was also quite nice.

My mind is blown! I've ordered scrap leather from a variety of Amazon vendors, and the majority of them have disappointed me, so I've returned most of them. I'm always excited for it to arrive, only to be disappointed by unusable leather. I make purses and like to use embossed leather to add a pop of color. Well, I received the veg tan and embossed today, and I can't believe how much was in the order, and it was packaged so nicely that it made me feel special, which is a great business. I'm going to order some more right now if you're looking for a veg tan, it's the best deal I've seen. I'm so happy, but I have to go.

I was a little hesitant to buy this leather because of the price, but it is very nice for the price. I am new to leather crafting and didn't want to spend too much money on it while I learn. To work with, I was given two large pieces. One of the pieces was approximately 29 inches long and 9 to 12 inches wide. The other piece measured approximately 21 inches long and was 7 to 10 inches wide. One of the pieces had a hole, but it was near the edge, so it wasn't a big deal. Aside from that, it appeared to be in good condition. Granted, I'm new to this, but it's better than spending $15 on a 10 x 10 leather piece, especially since I'm still learning and prone to making mistakes. I'm sure I'll order some more in the future.

I read all of the reviews, which were mostly positive, so I didn't have any expectations, and boy was I wrong! On a Sunday, I placed my order. I got it on Monday! Then I received two of the most beautiful pieces of leather I've ever seen! There aren't enough words to describe how happy I am with everything. I'd strongly suggest it! In terms of value, You won't be able to find this level of quality anywhere else! I've finally found the right person for me. Only leather has a chance! In the future, we'll have a lot of business! I'd like to upload a photo, but I don't see that option?.

I've purchased several bags and packages of leather scraps for various projects, and the common thread was that they were all disappointingly small amounts of randomly colored bits of leather that were useless for all but the tiniest of projects. Imagine my surprise when I opened this package to find a sheet of beautiful, nearly flawless leather measuring 1 foot wide by 2 feet long, rather than a bag of scraps. 5 long, plus a smaller piece that was still larger than any'scrap' I had previously purchased. I will buy from this seller again without a doubt.

There are a few flaws, but it's mostly clean. As soon as I finish this batch, I'll definitely be ordering again. It's great when a vendor tells you what the product is and you get exactly what you asked for. I hope that Upon Leather continues to exist and prosper.
