Greetings, my dear friend br>Thank you for your message here; however, please note that the list does not include all of the items; it is based on the options you select, such as size obverse and color 2. If the item is 7mm and has two teeth, we will ship it obverse 2. To you, 7mm and 2teeth Thank you very much, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions.
Please don't let the fact that they're made in China deter you from purchasing one. These are extremely high-quality tools that are well worth the money, with excellent machining and finish.
A number 7 has 8 tines per inch, according to what I've seen. The number eight is a millimeter smaller than the number seven. The product is of good quality and easily penetrates leather. The ones I bought (numbers 7 and 8, both with two tine implements) are my favorites.
Mine is used for both of these purposes. I use it as a stitching iron when the weight is less than 6 ounces; if the weight is higher, the holes become too large and the stitch becomes inconsistent. I use a pricking iron with a wuta diamond wall for the heavier weights.

After an hour of work, the five prong literally snapped three of the prongs off. It took three weeks for it to arrive after I had to wait three weeks for it.
Since then, I've been on a roll. This iron is pictured with a ksblade. These irons are superior to the previous blade in my opinion. When using the number four, Both the 6 oz veg tan and the 8 oz veg tan punch through with ease, but the 6 oz veg tan leaves a larger hole. I have to awl through the ksblade, but these don't require it. The fact that it includes a 2-prong iron is the cherry on top for me. That's an extra $90 on top of the $115 I spent on the ks iron for the ksblade. I'm sure I'll buy from them again. The only reason this isn't a five-star rating is because of the first impression. br>br>The tooth broke on the second project. I'm looking for a way to get my money back. This isn't what you'd expect from an iron that costs $80.
I began by using number three. When I could only afford to buy them, I bought 85 2 prong and 8 prong. I was blown away by how well these chisels perform. I have BEAT on the backside of the two that I originally purchased and they haven't gotten a single dent or mushroomed at the top. When pushed through leather, they also come out very easily. The low-cost ones have a habit of grabbing the leather and not letting go. To get the cheap chisels out, you'll have to put forth some effort. I decided to get the entire set, starting with the smallest and working my way up to the largest, as well as the reverse of each one. When using obverse and reverse together, having the reverse chisels adds to the aesthetics of your stitch. The quality of these leather chisels is NOT CHEAP. When using them, they are simple to handle and grip. They also have a good amount of metal at the top of the striking point, making it even less likely to hit a finger. The people who sell these out of China are extremely nice and patient, and they are a pleasure to work with.
On arrival, the tooth on a large pricking iron had been broken off. I had time to use the small pricking iron, and while it works well as a pricking iron, I wouldn't use it as a chisel because it can get quite wide. br>br>Customer Service is non-existent. existent.
I realized that every other chisel I've ever used has been obverse. The tool is of excellent quality, but it is only slightly shorter than other, more expensive brands.
What a lovely set of irons you have there! You won't be dissatisfied with the results. Given that it was sent from overseas, shipping to the west coast was not too bad. It was necessary to polish the teeth a little more, i. However, this isn't a major issue because these stitching holes are extremely nice. *as seen in the attached photo* I was so pleased with this set that I ordered another one. 0 mm set.
After corresponding with the seller, it was determined that I was used to pricking irons that were less refined, and that the irons I had gotten from Wuta required a liter strike than I was used to, as well as using a softer surface under my leather for pricking. br>Wuta replaced the broken "iron," and I paid a reasonable shipping fee. Overall, I'm happy with the Iters and their business practices! WUTA, I'd like to express my gratitude for all you've done for.
To cut a long story short, under your working leather, be sure to pad your surface with some extra leather because the prongs are very fine and precise, and they will shatter if you don't: Just a heads-up so you don't ruin this fine instrument.
