These are what I use to make felted wool toys out of. I use scissors to make a small hole, then dab a small amount of glue on the'stick' part of the eye and let it dry.
I use it to make small amigurumis by pouring liquid silicone on top of it. Three people are required. Because it takes 4 hours for the yarn to dry, I make two amigurumis at once, but it's worth it.
No, I'd use buttons instead of these eyes in that situation.

I was overjoyed when I received them because I had been unable to locate safety eyes in any of my local craft stores. The biggest issue is that the safety backing was left out, so I have thousands of eyes but no safety backs. This could all be chalked up to pregnancy brain, but I thought it was reasonable to expect the back out to be included when purchasing this.
First and foremost, let me state unequivocally that these are made of glass. When polymer clay is baked at 275 degrees for an hour, it does not melt or distort in any way. They would bubble and distort if they were made of plastic, but they don't. br>br>The eyes aren't all the same size, so you'll have to dig through the bag to find two that match, but they're not too far apart in size, so finding a match should be simple. br>br>These are something I'll buy again.
Because the sizes are random, you'll have to search through them to find a matching pair.
These are fantastic, and they came out just right. I'm very pleased. I really like the little containers that come with them to keep each size separate and organized.
Great price, and exactly what I needed for my handcrafted snowmen and reindeer. I wasn't sure how they'd hold up without backs, but a dab of Turbo Tacky glue where the posts would go into the fabric worked perfectly! (Before pushing these little guys in, make sure you poke a good hope in your fabric with a pin. ) ) I like how these were packaged in zip lock baggies inside small containers. Also, the shipping was very quick. I'll come back for more if I ever run out of these!.

Good eyes were required for my felted creatures. I'm extremely pleased with the results. The yellow face hasn't gone away. work. It'll be a doll with a sunburst face.
