The answer is I do not For my plaster mold I am going to cast it in pottery clay with the armature I bought from this store. Heat is not something I have ever applied
The clay is hard when it is fresh out of the package, but it becomes soft as soon as it is squeezed and warmed up in If I need my hair to be really soft, I use a hair dryer.
A clay such as this cannot be dissolved in water That should be appropriate for a seafloor below the waterline.
Clay won't harden because it has no energy to do so. The malleability of monster clay increases as it gets hot, then it There is no hope for this.

This is my first sculpture I have made using this medium. I am very pleased with the outcome! My only wish is to have been able to harden the final product. It was very easy to manipulate and firm enough to hold its When I used another kind of clay that my wife got me, it stained my fingertips and felt flimsy in the hand. That however, is not the case with this! hope to work with this clay on many more projects in the future.
This is a great deal for the price! This is what I used in my two large floor vases to hold the stems in a fixed position so that they are not just floating around. The clay was used only for the neck/top of the vase, not the bottom. (Just to clarify the Styrofoam was used for the bottom and the clay for the top. The clay is divided into pound bars in the package, and I found that it was stiff, but flexible enough that I was able to break a bar in half by bending it a couple of My efforts to shape this piece like that (to match the opening of the vase neck) were not too fruitless (the clay is dense but it is pliable). Although it contains a slight odor, I would not describe it as strong nor annoying (I unfortunately suffer from allergies and it did not cause them any irritation). While I am not sure if it will fade over time or not, my vases are on either side of my couch now and I am no longer able to smell it. It was only when I was working with the clay that I smelled it. I can't describe the smell of it nicely, but it smells like clay (kind of earthy) and, as I said, I don't even smell it anymore due to not working with it any more, but I wanted to As well as my heavier/thicker stems as well as the skinny, lightweight ones, it is ideal for both. Their feet made it through the clay without falling over, and they stood upright with no difficulty. Since the vases are so big, I decided to order two packages thinking I would need one for each, but there was a bar and half left over from the first package, and I didn't open the second one either. Apparently it will be useful for future arrangements (I will use it). You can cover a lot of ground with five pounds of this clay!.
Thanks for the clay. I am very happy with it. In order to make the brush, I sculpted the model in the software. The silicone mold is made of. I had no trouble working with the clay. A warmer climate allows it to break off the block with minimal effort, but when it is cooler it is difficult to do so. I found the clay to be quite soft and pliable (granted we have about 70 degrees today). I plan to order this brand of oil clay again because I prefer it over the other brand I was using previously.
Hawaii is a tropical island with an average temperature of 70 degrees F It is 85 degrees out. We cannot use this in this environment due to its softness and stickiness. It also has a sickly sweet smell. spending years creating digital sculptures in Zbrush, I finally decided it was time to get back to the old ways. It has been awhile since I used this kind of clay, when I was living in SF where it is The Monster Clay is a hard or medium clay that would work well in warmer climates. The Sargent Art Plastilina is good clay, but I would not recommend it for most of us.
Clays like this are great for capturing fine details. As of right now, it is not possible to roll it out, so I had no way to use it. While it is not as soft as Monster Clay, you still cannot heat it. You either have hard stuff or liquid stuff As far as we are concerned, there is no in-between.
The softness of this product, the price, and the quality have been the best for me. I like that it's not packaged in tiny amounts and that it's not overly hot. There are some that tend toward a green hue, while this is on the bluer side.
Assuming that the oils seep out after a couple of handlings, I expect that they will come out. There's a hint of. . in this scent. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to mix it with a slightly harder playdough. The light and dark tones of gray are visible to me when I use it. A DATE UPDATED For a sweet middle ground mix equal parts plastalina and "craft smart" An ideal surface should have a good balance between pliable and traction, but not too tacky or soft.
It says to mention how easy it is to use, and it certainly Since it is modelers clay that won't dry out, how much easier could it possibly be? great, and I was told that to point out. However, it is as thick as you want it to be I am using this as a pellet trap for my pellet gun, so I am unsure how it models, but it does seem to catch the pellets.
