I do not think it can be baked. There is nothing to harden or dry about it. It is just clay that will always melt.
It sort of works. The clay never fully hardens, which means your surface can be smushed at any time. The harder it gets over time, the more difficult it will be. The material dries, but not completely. It is probably best to use another product if the primary purpose of the project is to paint
Mold release was sprayed onto it before pouring the silicone, and it came off without a hitch.

My favorite part of it is the graphic. Despite the fact that some people feel this clay should harden, don't add water since it isn't meant to. When heated, it comes out tough and smooth so you can use hot tools or use your hands to smooth it out, maybe even put it in the microwave for a few seconds to smooth it out. Extending my love.
