I made a batch of candles with these. As long as the wick is centered in the middle, they work well. The wick is held in place by a hole in the middle of the popsicle sticks. You place the wicked stick across the top of your jar and pour the melted wax in. The only issue I had was that if I poured the wax too hot, the wick would come out of the bottom metal part--so be careful not to pour too hot: ) Aside from that, they're great, and I'll definitely buy more when I'm out.

One of the most difficult aspects of candlemaking for us has been keeping the wick centered. Ticky tack putty is available at Michaels and other craft stores to temporarily adhere the wick to the mold's bottom. The wick comes loose, starts to float, or is no longer straight and in the center of the candle as it dries, and this hasn't worked well in the past. This kit provides a solution to that issue. br>br>I like how the metal stands at the wick's end have already been included. While it isn't strictly necessary, it greatly simplifies the process of lighting the wick. The included adhesive stickers, as well as the wood wick centering tools, do the same. Yes, it's just a hole in a popsicle stick, but it gets the job done. br>br>Wick performs admirably, burning and melting the candle as expected while maintaining a respectable flame. Overall, it was delivered quickly and was exactly what I had hoped for. It's a simple, inexpensive kit to get you started, and I've used it to make professional-looking candles.

A GIANT candle was created by me. The dough bowl, wax, and fragrance oil all cost a significant amount of money. Everything about it was ideal. Until I had finished pouring my wax, that is. Once the wax was poured, all of the HORRIBLE weak wicks broke off at the stem. ALL. WICKS. BROKE. Because of this low-quality item, my 60-ounce dough bowl candle was completely destroyed. br>It's been a huge letdown. I wish I'd chosen a different option. When I opened the package and discovered that some of the items were already broken, I should've known better. This item should not be sold in the first place. br> It's completely useless, and it'll cost you money and time. UGH!.

I got this wick set last week and it worked perfectly. It was an affordable price. I used them to make a variety of candles this week because the shipping was so quick. The wick stickers and wicks did their job admirably. This is a product that I would buy again.

These are fantastic wicks! They worked great in my candles and were very simple to use. The wooden wick holders included in the set are extremely useful and simple to use. I was able to get the 8 in so that I could cut down, which I appreciated. The shipping was quick. I will definitely recommend these to my other candle-making friends because the wicks are wax-coated and lit beautifully. The sticks also stayed in place with ease. Hot glue is sometimes required as an extra, but it was not required in this case. This is an excellent product.

Because my existing wicking isn't compatible with clear gel wax, I was unable to use it after making a recent purchase of clear gel wax. These pre-made wicks solved two problems for me, making the process of adding wicks to jars simple and ensuring that they stayed free of bubbles a lot easier. Thank you so much, Amazon!.

BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! br>These wicks are a nightmare to work with. They are extremely thin and burn so quickly that they only leave a small hole near the wax and do not burn the rest of it. Very dissatisfied.
